Good
Works as described. Only downside compared to others I have, it doesn’t monitor power usage. Aside from that. Solid product!

Great cheap way to make your house smarter
These are great little devices to get your house smarter. They didn't seem to connect the 'quick' way (via bluetooth), but using WiFi, they connected easily. Once set up they work well and integrate with Alexa seamlessly.NOTE: I'm using a BT smart hub. I had to go into the admin section (type 192.168.1.254 into your internet browser) and go to the wireless section in the home screen (tap on it or click on it). When there, turn off the 5GHz WiFi, save the settings and the hub will restart. THEN you can install the plugs. Once installed you can turn the 5GHz WiFi back on again. They won't connect unless you do this. For other hubs, you may be able to label the 2.4GHz with a different label to the 5GHz networks. If that's the case, select the 2.4GHz network from the list during setup.

Works fine - some config required.
These seem fine so far - though haven't been using them too long.Only reviewing to highlight the setup issues I experienced. As documented, these plugs only support 2.4 GHz WiFi. I was able to set one up out of the box, but the other 3 wouldn't pair. The fix for this appears to be disabled 5 GHz on your router, pairing all 4, then re-enabling 5 GHz alongside 2.4 GHz. They now appear to work fine.

Great value all 4 worked fine!
The package arrived quickly and when opened contained the 4 devices.I checked each one and they all linked up with the SmartLife app with no issues

Installation requires a Bsc in I.T. !!!
I was looking forward to using these sockets in order that I could get rid of my old ones with a battery powered remote control !!!However, when it came to installing them, this is where a whole host of problems started. If you have a dual router/hub (2.4G and 5G) you have to change all your Wifi settings in order for the sockets to work. You have to go into the management section of the hub with all the technical settings for your wifi. Now, I consider myself to be fairly tech savvy but I am not a Wifi engineer which you will need if you want to install these! After almost 2 hours following the instructions by the letter, I gave up trying anymore and put them back in the box ready for returning to Amazon! All my devices need reconnecting to the wifi which wasn’t a problem until it came to setting my house alarm. The wifi settings had interfered with the settings of the alarm and I had to arrange an engineer to reset the settings in order the alarm could be set. Not something that I was happy about. If you have a Wifi house alarm, I would seriously advise that you do not buy these sockets.Overall, I was very disappointed in this purchase and I would certainly not recommend this product.Whilst a remote socket with a remote control is old fashioned nowadays, its reliable, they don’t waste two hours of your time, only require a battery and don’t require a call from an engineer!!!So needless to say, these have been returned.Save your money and time and get some smart sockets that do not require you to change your wifi settings.

Good
They are really good we have got a load of them around the house. Just tell Alexa to turn things on and off.

A little bit of a pain but got there
I have two Teckin plugs that I got a couple of years ago and just wanted to add more now energy costs going up so I can make use of my cheaper energy times. I must admit I nearly lost the will the first time I tried to set them up, even after following the instructions to make separate 2.4 and 5Gz wifi connections and auto and manual connections tried, without effect. I left it until the next day. I made sure I followed all the instructions and bingo, plug one was recognised and then the rest were added one by one. I see there is a new energy saving feature in the smart life app that my other two plugs are unable to use so it will be interesting to see accurate they are once data added. I already had smart life skill on my Alexa so I just told her turn the plugs on and off and she did so it is reading the info from the app. Hopefully, they will work as well as my other two and ensure I make best use of the cheaper electricity and don’t leave phones charging for hours longer than they need to by setting the timer.

Only 3 out of 4 work
Regretfully only 3 out of 4 are working therefore giving this only two stars.Other than that easy to setup and I like the the offset of the main casing so it doesn’t interfere with the safety fuse switch (UK)
