Moderately warm for neck or using as a hat. Slips a little on hair using it as a pull on hat-just make a folded scrunched rim. Very soft. Not thick at all. Even though ad stated dry clean, I have ordered a few colors and have washed them together in a white zippered pillow case set washer to cold then air dried. Came out even softer than before. I have ordered many colors. most colors are true to pictures but some are not.

Because it fit so snugly and I could fold it over to keep my face even warmer, this was a good purchase for very cold weather. However, when it is just chilly outside as I take my 40 minute walk several times a week, I use a looser type of turtle face covering.It is also easy to hand wash; it dries overnight so it is fresh each day during the winter months. I also liked the choice of color.

First, the pros. It’s lightweight, fits me well, and stylish. It’s also good for the price and I can still breathe through it.Now the cons. I kind of overlooked the part where it was dry clean only so I need to keep that in mind. The thickness is kind of thin, so I suggest wearing a scarf or a face mask underneath to add extra warmth, which is okay with me because they both keep each other from slipping. It also kind of smells a little once you take it out of the package so let it air out for a day.If I could, I would give the rating 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas present, and he loves it! He is a delivery person at night, and he says it has kept him extremely warm while he runs from one delivery to another. It is very soft and a great color. This is a wonderful product for the money.

This product was super soft and very stretchy, but it was so stretchy that I couldn’t really get it to stay up above my nose (it kept sliding down). It was also thinner than I thought, and looks like fleece on one side but is a smooth polyester on the other side, so it’s not as warm as my last gaiter that was all fleece. My last gaiter was thick and sturdy and held up, and this one is stretchy and soft but much thinner and doesn’t seem like real fleece. It’s just fleece looking on one side. Doesn’t seem like it will keep the wind or cold off my face if it’s really windy outside. And it won’t stay up over my nose haha. Will be returning, but at least the color was accurate! (Says dark grey but is more of a dark taupe/tan, which I wanted.)
