DIY, Makers, hackers, you effin' need this iron.
I can't say enough good things about this soldering iron.I purchased this as I needed a portable soldering iron to take with me as my hakko station isn't the most mobile friendly machine. However since I've purchased the ts80p, other then a single occasion I've found myself using this in place of my hakko even when the hakko is available. It's just so convenient, coupled with a mediocre USB power supply and its a powerful little device.The alternate tips are great, I find them better then the standard one it comes with.Did I mentioned it's completely open source and updating the firmware is simple to do! It was simple to add some flair to it like if I triple tap the tip it will instantly go to standby instead of waiting and when picked up it will heat right back up. It's my dream iron, hackable and capable.

Cute toy that works.
It's a cute toy for some very light soldering work. Anything major or through holes and it will struggle a bit. It may not be hot enough for some of the higher temp solders. Worth a try especially if you do occasional light repair in the field.

Not truely portable in that it has to be plugged in to work. Still a good buy and size.

No "power off" button
It's a tiny yet fantastic and powerful soldering ion I've seen.It reaches desired temp in 5 seconds and it also cools down in seconds after unplugging power adapter. I also love the OLED display.3 cons:Expensive :(No" power off "button ( main reason why I returned it) :(Supplied usb c cable is not long enough. :(
