This Wild Wayz Clock, with no abbreviations, has been designed to help our loved senior citizens who are living with Dementia or early stage Alzheimer's, who often lose the ability to distinguish between days of the week the Date and cycles of the day. This disorientation can lead to agitation and confusion. This Dementia Clock clearly displays the Time and Date and Day of the Week, whereby each day is divided into 4 cycles - Morning, Afternoon, Evening & Night. It has an internal clock whose time is adjustable via the menu setup buttons. Helps with time orientation for the period of the day, The Day Clock is a great aid & self help product for anyone experiencing Dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory loss. It makes a great gift for our aging population and assists in managing their care. Our design features a simple and clear display showing the DAY of the WEEK and the Day Cycle as either MORNING, AFTERNOON, EVENING or NIGHT. The clock enables independence among seniors & helps in their schedule and time management. It can be used as either a desk clock or a wall mounted clock and is very beneficial for the elderly population, stroke victims, people with Dementia or early stages of Alzheimer's, who can often get confused and not know what day of the week it is. The clock runs using the AC adapter that is included. However, there is an internal battery that maintains the time when unplugged, so that when you plug it in either for the first time or after it is unplugged for any reason, it will display the correct day of the week and the current cycle of the day (i.e. morning, afternoon, evening or night).

I bought this for my 92 year old father in law to help him remember the days of the week.I received the clock today, plugged it in and programmed it with no problem.Large letters and numbers, easily visible across a room. I love the clock showsday of the week morning/afternoon/evening to help him with knowing exactly howhis day is progressing!Update: September 10, 2017My father-in-law was so happy to receive a clock that told him what day of the week it was! He wouldfeel embarrassed when asking us if today was Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever! No more! Heis now more confident that, when he gets up in the morning, he knows exactly what day of the week it is.He is thrilled.

My mother has dementia so I got this to help her, and it really does!! But her caretaker and I were just saying how much we LOVE it too. We never know what day it is because my work week is Saturday-Wednesday, so the caretaker's week is that also. So, we are not in sync with the rest of the world, when it's Monday to us everyone else is just starting their weekend. This clock keeps us up to date as to what day it is, haha!! I don't know how we lived without it!

Unexpected power outage and this clock is broken for good.
Bought THREE of these clock now for my mom with dementia. All THREE are now in the trash after an unexpected power outage. Yes. I tried to fix them, but no, it wasn't possible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Anyway they're lightweight and overpriced.

Great For anyone , yet perfect for people with cognitive issues. Kinda hard to set I thought... So find the spot you want. Once you unplug you have to reset, but I love the clock , I bought it for my father. Perfect for him

Does not display in Spanish as it says
Imposible to set up the display in Spanish. Instructions are in spanish but not the display? Worthless!! And seller does not even reply to emails

Great clock, outstanding visual display and the alarm is nice and loud.Love the way it automatically dims at night and super quick to set up.
