SpeedoWomen's Eco Endurance+ Medalist Swimsuit (Pack of 1)

This is the THIRD Speedo costume I have ordered and subsequently returned due to poor quality and bonkers sizing. I have had the same model of this costume for over 10 years and it requires replacing. The old one still fits - the new one arrived and it didn't even cover my chest. I looked like a 90s bodybuilder or wrestler. Some people might be into that but I need it for swimming not a page 3 contest.I suspect it is a counterfeit or just incredibly poor quality - seams were puckered all along the garment and there was not enough fabric to go over my torso even though I ordered two sizes up.Fed up - shouldn't be this faffy to order a swimming costume!

Very thin material. I've only ever bought a red speedo endurance for the past 20 years as I usually swim at least twice a week and an endurance costume lasts at least 2 years in a chlorinated pool and are usually much thicker. This is the thinnest material I've ever come across despite it being lined at the front, so I'm disappointed. This will make it more see through when wet ! Speedo endurance don't have elastine in so they don't stretch much and are always a tight fit so I always buy the next size up to allow for this, but this costume is smaller in size than my previous one even though its the same size as my previous one! I placed the new one on top of my old one and its at least 1.5 ins smaller all round but luckily I can still get into my new one, just! It will be interesting to see how long this one lasts as the quality is not up to speedos usual standard.

The shape of this was fine, wasn’t to high cut.But the colour was a completely different shade of blue.The material was not swimming quality, it’s more like a see through vest. I tried it on and I didn’t feel comfortable as you could clearly see the outline of my areoles and my nipples. Imagine getting in the water and then stepping out in that, not sure kids and parents alike would like seeing that when I take my daughter swimming.

Really disappointed with this costume.I’m 5.7’ and a size 12 with a mid sized bust- I ordered a 14 in black just to be safe but it is too tight (I know they have to be but this was ridiculous). It was too short in the body so the straps pulled on shoulders. The worst bit though is the material - it’s so thin you could see my areolas! TMI I’m sorry - but I had to return it!

Was really worried about purchasing this item as I've never owned a Speedo swimming costume before so wasn't sure on what size I would be. I've tried other brands on in shops before and found my normal size to be too small or really see-through.I looked on the Speedo website at this exact costume and looked at the sizing chart. I'm normally an 8-10 sometimes even a 6-8 depending on the clothing.After reading reviews online a lot of people said about the item being too small or too see through. I decided to play it safe and go for a size (or two!) up from my normal clothing size so ordered a 34 which is basically a UK 12.I ordered it late afternoon and it arrived the next day to my surprise! Tried it on and it fits perfect. It's also not see through at all. I'm sure the people who find it to be see through must be squeezing into costumes too small for them!Overall very happy!!

The price was amazing.. I have been buying the Speedo Endurance swimming costumes for years, I have been swimming for over 20 years now and these are the best for regular use, they really are chlorine resistant.. They last for years unlike those with lycra.. I guess the only negative would be if someone were to put on a few pounds there is no lycra so you will feel the tightness.. But this could be an incentive to work those pounds off ..

I'll be honest, despite all the excellent reviews here, I was slightly dubious about what this swimsuit was going to be like when it arrived. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. I don't know where else you'll get a swimsuit of any descent sort for this price and then this sports the reputable Speedo brand as well .. brilliant bargain! Again, when I opened the package I was disappointed to note the front was not lined but it's of such good quality there simply seems to be no need. With the highish front and high back there is some wriggling to be done to get into it but once on it's very comfortable. I will agree if you're on the tall side you may find the body too short but, being 5' 3", it's just perfect on me. I'd normally buy a 14 or 16 in a swimsuit and I ordered a 40. The size tag does say 18 but there's no way it's that big. Based on the reviews, with which I now fully concur, I'm looking forward to lots of wear from this swimsuit and will order another colour when I've an order going in to Amazon again.

Really thin material, I've ordered two sizes up and it was a little loose but the elastic around the legs digging into the skin. Terrible design, it would probably look even worse once wet, but I'm not going to try, just about to send it back. I can only imagine it would suit women with very little or no body fat and little in the chest department..
