If you want some nicer backgammon checkers that have just enough heft to them when you pick them up, look like big shiny Spree candies, have a really satisfying clack sound against each other, and have a consistent vibrant color, then these are what you want.I got a nice backgammon board for Christmas that came with really light-weight wooden checkers. We learned to plan and started getting into the game, and wanted checkers that had a bit more substance to them, so we ordered these. They're exactly what we wanted.I do note a little tinge of the beige that some people notice in the white checkers, but I only notice it in direct sunlight, and even then I personally don't care.

Lost my marbles
Our daughters used our set and lost ONE STONE! These company has different size stones, so I bought the largest set that would fit in our set. They seem to work and look and feel solid.
