I have thick curly hair and used 2 boxes from dark brown naturally with purple box dye over the top hair came out orange- leave applying to the roots until 20 minutes into the application as mine were yellow as heat from scalp makes it develop quicker! I used purple box dye after and came out great all the same colour. 100% recommend

I have a lot of long, very thick, coily, dry, heavily processed hair that needs a good cut. Bought 2 boxes for my roots which wasn't nearly enough. It lifted fairly well and didn't wreck my hair. While I'll need another box or two to get the bits I missed, it hasn't left me scared to do another application. Would buy again.

This lifts brilliantly with no damage to hair. Could be more product but I have short hair so not a problem for me. The purple toner shampoo included is also a nice bonus. My favourite bleach ever and god knows I’ve used a few!

Works great for dark brown hair. Only had to bleach once to get a light enough colour to put red on. Comes with gloves,really nice hair mask and the bleach. Bleach is only small so had to use around 6 for my full head. I have thin hair down to my middle back for reference. Love that it's vegan.Would be better to have atleast double of this amount of bleach in one package.

Used other bleaches but this is great, no watering eyes no strong smell and gentle on hair. Will definitely use again.

Without all of the damage to the hair, this product did exactly what it was supposed to. It lightened the hair enough levels to use a bright color over top. I can't stress enough, it didn't damage the hair!

This is one of the better brands for bleaching hair at home. This stuff is $10 at Target and given that you'll need atleast two boxes to fully saturate medium length hair for the best lift, that is a good deal. I have no complaints about this bleach kit. The no bleach bleach kit is a completely different matter, but atleast this version is fine. Work with your own bowl, brush, gloves, and conditioner.

I used this the first time in my life i ever bleached my hair, i had to order a second one because my roots didnt completly bleach. But, i have to add i have silver gray hair, and it is very color resistant, so it would make sense that it wouldn't bleach well either.
