Excellent quality and responsiveness.
This is my first arcade stick. I have used controllers on console prior to purchasing this. I dabbled with fighting games but never got into them properly. I always felt like the controller was a mediocre way to play fighting games. In my case, this was true.I did my homework before purchasing this. You’d have to before dropping close to $300 on an input device that won’t necessarily make you better at fighting games. This is ranked by enthusiasts among the top arcade sticks for quality and the final product shows.Pros-Sturdily built, tank like case weighing a whopping 12 pounds-Button pattern is great for large hands like mine-Excellent responsiveness and quick reset of joystick and buttons-Different preset modes for output to PlayStation consoles or PC that work without downloading additional programs or tweaking device-Sleek design with noticeable LED panels that accentuate the housing rather than detract from it-Housing has easy access release levers that allows the panel to hinge upward exposing the underside of inputs making modding or repair incredibly accessible-Theme of “dragon” continued on upper portion of base inside with soft material embossed in a scale pattern with the Qanba logo centered*very nice touch in my opinion here*Cons-Weight could be an issue if this is your tournament stick and you tire easily-In order to mod the components you must break a QA seal to remove the shield that covers the input components-This may only apply to folks with larger hands; the top of the ball on the joystick comes up to just under my middle finger with the edge of my hand resting on the case, perpendicular to the top. Your mileage may vary depending upon your style of play-The case top is a fingerprint magnetWith the pros and cons out of the way, I can venture into my personal experience with the product. Since purchasing this stick, I have played fighting games exclusively and I have found they’ve been incredibly simple to learn while using an arcade stick. This will not be true for some folks. This stick (or any other) will more likely than not, not make you magically god-tier at fighting games. It just clicked for me and I’m enjoying laying the hurt down on opponents in GGST. The Qanba Dragon is, in my opinion, an excellent arcade stick that is well worth the money spent. The components are of great quality that seem built to last hours and hours of mashing and slamming (I tend to repeatedly mash on wake-up and I’m heavy handed on my devices-no issues yet).In conclusion: I’d be surprised if someone who shelled out the money for this was dissatisfied with the product. It really is great in form and functionality and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Thanks Qanba and thanks Amazon for carrying this amazing product.

I highly recommend it. For more in depth continue reading
The quick review : I highly recommend it .For more in depth continue reading!First up the PROs- Build: This thing is a freaking tank! It weighs about 12 pound and it feels heavy and solid . It really is a quality construction . The body is mostly made out of an aluminum alloy and to be honest I cannot see someone accidentally breaking it .The cord is a very nice and sturdy weave and the cord management are to metal prongs on the back to wrap it around.- Looks : The colors of black , red and silver do compliment each other with a nice clean look . The shiny black plastic also looks great when it's clean . The LEDs are on the simple side but you can see them and they are not a distraction . There are also 2 LED strips on the side of it which I didn't even notice till someone pointed it out to me . When you open it up you see a very very nice fabric lined compartment meant to look like dragon scales and very wire management that is behind a plastic covering .- Performance : Full Sanwa JLF and buttons are used and are as you would expect . The PCB used does seem to be a slight bit faster than what is in the Obsidian and maybe even the TE+ . Touch pad works well and it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack ..a rarity to be honest.-Comfort: It's a big stick. It will fit on your lap well even with your knees apart. The weight feels great as I can mash on the buttons and stick and it doesn't seem to move much at all . Also the distance between the stick and buttons is a little wider so my hands no longer hit each other .-Convenience: I thought I wouldn't like not having a compartment for the wire but the prongs are much easier . You just wrap it up and go . Having access to the inside of the stick is also a great thing if you ever want to mod it (I'm not sure if it voids your warranty though ) also has a some space to hold a cloth to clean it and maybe a button or two or a new ball/bat top.And now the CONs:-Portability: It's a freaking tank! I know I kept saying that the weight of it is a plus and it is in most cases but you are a tournament goer and not used to carrying something hefty around this can be a pain . With no handle or strap attachment I can see some people getting tired of lugging this thing around under their arm. I suggest getting a bag.-Glossy black plastic: It looks great clean but it does attract smudges and finger prints like crazy . I'd imagine it will also get scratched up over time .That's about it for the CONs. I really don't have much bad to say about this stick. It is a premium product and it shows.

Huge Deluxe Fightstick! Love it!
This is a fantastic FightStick and is probably the most deluxe stick that I have ever held in my hands! I've used anything from cheapo Hori Soul Calibur II sticks up to some of the more exquisite HORI HRAP Vewlix, Mad Catz TE2's, and Razer sticks and this is easily one of my favorites. The box that this FightStick comes in is beautiful and is branded with both the SONY Licensed sticker and Qanba's own holographic authenticity sticker. First of all, this stick is an absolute monster! It's huge and weighs a ton. You never have to fight to keep it on your lap as you play due to the weight. The stick and buttons are all high quality Sanwa's and feel great. The way the buttons click and clack into the chassis sounds great and really give you great feedback. For personal preference I swapped out the stock Sanwa joystick with a Seimitsu stick and was surprised to find it was pleasantly easy. With a single screw you had access to all the stick and buttons. There's even a diagram underneath that shows what color wires go where. The main cable that comes out of the case that attaches to your computer or console feels as hefty as the Fightstick itself and will probably survive many many years of use and abuse. The only concerns and criticisms I have are the durability of the silver painted area for your palms to rest on. It feels like it can wear out relatively fast based on the amount of time you'll be playing on this thing. Also, the Start or "Options" button is kind of difficult to feel for and I find myself hitting that button to skip intros or menus as much as I can. Maybe it was purposely designed this way for tournament play. Those are mostly niggling complains and not of any substantial worry.
