When Sophie's Feelings Are Really, Really Hurt

Misleading Title
I was really hoping that this book was more about how a child should manage when his/her feelings are hurt. Instead, it's about a girl who draws a picture of a tree with non-normal colors and is laughed at by a child in the class. The teacher says that the picture is good because she drew how she felt. This is a nice story, but the title is misleading.

Amazing book that will captivate toddlers.
My toddler cannot get enough of this book. She makes us read it to her every day and even took it to preschool with her to show her teachers!

Beautiful artwork and story to go along with it
Molly Bang did it again! I use these books when working with kids on how to deal with their emotions. Beautiful artwork and story to go along with it. I hope she does more Sophie books in the future!

Beautiful story and illustrations
Bought this book to read to my daughters first grade class. My daughters feelings were being hurt by her classmates. The children loved the story and illustrations. My daughter is no longer feeling sad at school.
