Your Choice Aquatics Pest Trap

Yes this will attract snails, though it is very large and I wish it was half as big. I put green beans and carrot in it and they went right to it. But it is not always a trap. They baby snails can leave when the food runs. The small/medium and larger are stuck in the trap. So have to watch it and when snails are in it you can pull it out and dispose of the snails, but the very small snails can leave it if they want. So yes it does work, but it is not always a trap but it does a good job attracting snails in large numbers. It would be nice if it were smaller.

So, this works pretty good. The snails in my tank definitely go in, but some are able to get out. There are little areas near the flaps. So we just empty it after it gets full.The down side, my Hypostomus plecostomus (common pleco) was able to get in but he couldn't get out ! Took 5 mins or so to get the poor guy out. He's fine ☺️

Mixed feelings. Did definitely get a good amount of snails but not as many as I was hoping and unfortunately a few fish also got stuck. It was easy to let the fish back out without them being injured. Worst part is the snails have to be decently big to get stuck inside. Anything little can crawl right back out.

My 75 gallon established planted aquarium has had Malaysian trumpet snails for several years. They are very beneficial since they live in the gravel and keep it aerated. They also consume leftover food and eat algae. They come out at night and are usually not a problem. Suddenly I saw them everywhere when the lights were on. I inserted 2 Hikari algae wafers in the trap before lights out. The next morning I had 100’s of snails in the trap. One night solved my problem.

When I opened the box, I was surprised to see pieces missing. The top door and the bait door was missing.

Product arrived ahead of schedule . Trap is rather large and swinging from catch gas gaps that the bristle worms were able to get out. Would give a 5 if the trap door was better

Wow!!! This thing absolutely works as is proof in my photo above!!! I just put this onto gravel in my big fish tank, filled with sinking fish food - and left it in there over night! Result is absolutely crazy!!! Highly recommend this trap!!!Update:2nd pic is from last night!Counted 97 snails!!!Again - this trap works!!!

I put food in there and all it trapped were fish...
