Ron has done it yet again.I started following Ron’s Instagram page back in 2020. At a time when the world stood still, I was confined in my house for weeks and then months, I found Ron’s posts on Instagram to be cathartic healing. Since then, I’ve always looked forward to Ron's work.I’ve always wondered how Ron’s writings resonate with me, and so many of the 623,000+ people who follow his writing page. Now, having picked up writing myself, I think it is the raw words that Ron lets out through his raw experiences that make our raw emotions resonate.This book, titled “no idea what I’m doing but f*ck it”, is Ron Lim’s first book and the perfect gateway to experience what Ron’s writings are about - no-frills attached - vulnerable raw words, raw emotions, raw experiences. It is the humane, simplistic approach of the writing that makes it so unique.Through this book, Ron takes the reader on a journey of his experiences from buying a one-way ticket to the internal dialogues we all face in our day to day lives, be it about self-belief, consistency, uncertainties, or the choices we make.From the first chapter/part of the book - “no one knows anything” to the last chapter/part - “the answers you need are in you”, Ron gives you the questions you need to ask yourself, the warmth of an old friend, and the friendly push one needs to make a choice. The book also makes one realise that while we all might be living purely different lives, it is this different, unique and yet common ‘human experience’ that binds us all as people.All in all, this book is a chicken soup for the soul- comforting, warm, and strengthening- and I’m glad I’ve read it.I’m very happy for Ron as I’ve seen him grow from Instagram to now - self-publishing his first book. As always, I look forward to what Ron's next projects turn out to be and I’m excited to see him grow and share his experiences!

The words of ron are just amazing, with given you solutions of the problems you are not even thinks like of problem 🥺🥺... Such amazing words ❤

This book almost gives me that push to do the things I always wanted to but never did. Two things I didn't like is that firstly it finished too soon and second of all, each page is more like a different tweet, could've been written a bit differently. Always a fan of the author since the days we used to pay for his coffees :)

It's everything you'll need at some point in your life .This book has the reflection of each of us.

Truly an amazing writer! One of my favorite reads.

one of my new favorite books! read this when you’re slacking, feeling down, and/or doubting yourself. it is a powerful reminder of your inner strength and capabilities regardless of your external environment. i will be reading this every time i start to lean on innate negativity or believe in the worst. i love how motivating this book is without even trying to be. it’s just telling you what is true and finally making you come to terms with that truth. i love its effortless authenticity and the author’s vulnerability. i’m so grateful it exists and that i have the privilege to consume this delightful slap in the face. please please buy it! for your own sake! for the you that wants to give up on your dreams and the you that thinks they aren’t wonderful and deserving to have what you have and want what you want. for the part of you who keeps your inner passion burning. for the part of you who laughs and loves. that person deserves to know how special and talented they are, and this book will show them that and more.

I really recommend this book since it is filled with poems and texts that encourage you to do whatever you desire to do in your life but you are scared of doing. Ron helps you rethink how you are approaching your life and if it is really the way you wanna live.

I think writing this book has been his best idea. This book is a need at this exact moment of my life (and for the rest of it now). I've been following him for some time on Instagram, his posts have always spoken to me. I have always been aware of the need for these changes in my life, but this book is the key to finally taking action. It gave me the talk that I couldn't give to myself. Thank you.

This is an amazing book. I really enjoyed reading it. This book will make you see life, etc. a little bit different. It is really inspiring and I think everyone is gonna find something they relate to. At many pages I was like "He is absolutely right" and he changed my mind and thoughts in some ways.I can highly recommend this book to everyone!!! It will help you to see things a little bit different and I think this is great. I love that book <3
