Traeger Pellet Grills SPC206 Brine and Rub Kit , 13.00 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Used this last week for the Thanksgiving turkey and it worked great. Brine was easy to prepare and spices worked pretty well. It was a little 'gloopy' with the butter rubbed skin when trying to add the seasonings. I actually used a convection oven and the skin crisped up and the meat remained moist. I can recommend this product.

Fantastic flavor, and adds moisture. First time I’ve ever brined a turkey for Thanksgiving and I was nervous. The weather was bad, so I ended up baking the turkey inside in my oven after brining and not smoking on my Traeger- And it still turned out wonderful ! I will be using this from now on !

Combine this with a 1/2 Cup of Orange Jameson and 1/2 Cup of buffalo trace and you have an epic brine and fantastic Turkey!

brined 3 separate turkeys for thanksgiving with these kits. Smoked on 13 yr old Traegar for 2 hours, then cranked up to 375 until internal temp of 150, threw in the clean cooler and drove 25 mins to thanksgiving dinner. The rest brought them right up to 162-165,Super juicy turkeys, great flavor. turkeys spatchcocked for easy and speed.only drawback is could use a little more rub but was just enough to dust and 18lb turkey

This product has yet to provide a dry turkey yet, the taste is great and the price is right. Only advise is follow the instructions as I’ve had a few smaller turkeys come out on the salty side when not adjusting the water amounts.

Will be using again. Good flavor, works well for smoked turkey.

Ease of use. Helps keep bird moist while smoking.
