Beautiful colors very good draping
The yarn is soft and is supposed to be enough for a whole scarf. The scarf drapes beautifully. I love the Scarfie fiber content. It is my personal opinion that natural fibers are the best insulation in winter. This has just enough wool content in it to retain softness but give you that little extra omph as far as warmth goes.

Scarfie Yarn - My new favorite!
I ordered Scarfie yarn just for a change from what I usually use. I'm currently crocheting the Granite Cape (sweater from "All About Ami") for my D-I-L who is expecting and due in February; she lives in ND now, so she's back to cold winters! Scarfie yarn has some wool and is machine washable. The yarn is: soft, smooth to the touch, nice bulk #5 for this particular pattern, easy to work with, the colors make gentle transitions, and the color selections are current. I recommend this yarn for hats, sweaters, and, yes ... scarves!

Great scarf yarn
This yarn works up nicely into a scarf. The finished piece is soft and yet "sturdy" and feels good on your neck. It isn't too bulky which sometimes happens. Lots of pretty colors and one skein goes a long way ………….two scarves depending on your patterns.

Yarn is perfect for the pattern on the sleeve.
I started to use this Scarfie yarn for one project and didn't like how it was working, so I switched and made the pattern inside the sleeve. It was really perfect and I love the scarf. People in my yarn group commented on how pretty the yarn is too. I received the yarn quickly, and I made another Scarfie scarf in different colors.

Nice results (soft and warm) with a nice ombre effect with long runs of color
I have made two crochet projects so far with Scarfie (a diagonal shawl for my younger daughter and a stylish scarf for my son-in-law.) The yarn is 78 percent acrylic and 22 percent wool. That works well for about half my family (the others are allergic to wool.) While I sometimes have issues with full wool products, I had none whatsoever with this percentage. The yarn is a simple twist of two fibers. It ombres back and forth between two colors and gives a really pleasing look to the finished projects.I found that the yarn as generally bulky but sometimes the twists were off and I ended up with a thin/thick yarn that varied between a 3 and a 5.I had one skein (out of the six I have purchased so far) that had a knot that changed colors abruptly and then, oddly, a place where the yarn was simply cut and not knotted. I was able to piece the yarn in properly as I had three skeins of it but had it been a one skein project, it would have ended up not looking as well as I would have hoped. That was enough for me to knock a star out of my review.I am already planning several more projects using this yarn. It has a nice hand feel and is long enough to complete a wide variety of scarf and cowl projects with one skein.

Good for warn cold-weather homemade gifts
I used this yarn for warm cold-weather Christmas gifts. It has just enough wool to be warmer than other yarns, but not so much that I can't work with it. I can't use wool... makes me break out in itchy rash. But I'm able to crochet with this yarn with no adverse effects. According to the information on the label, it can be machine washed, cool, and lay flat to dry. Nice, soft yarn. Will be using it more in the future.

A Definite Must-Have
I adore Scarfie yarn. It has the occasional thick spot that happens with wool blends for nice little organic imperfections, but it's not so prone to breaking, and the color blends beautifully. Looks nice with larger-gauge profects, too.

Works up like a dream
The mustard/cream colorway is absolutely beautiful. I am an experienced knitter and crocheter and prefer to work with local handspun fiber, but I do have to say this yarn is amazing to work with. It works up easily in both knitting and crocheting, and the yardage is great. I've attached photos of a crocheted afghan, and of a knit cabled hat in progress. I wouldn't hesitate to snag up more of thisfantastic yarn for a future project.

The Perfect Yarn for My Project
Perfect for the project I’m making. It’s a very dark rich purple (not leaning toward red or wine at all) and a true deep black which was just the right colour.
