My dog who was undergoing chemotherapy was rapidly losing mats of fur and had very sensitive skin from the treatment. She really seemed to enjoy how soft this comb felt on her skin and it helped remove her falling out fur tremendously.

My baby (Aussie/Collie mix), looks so polished when I brush him. His long hair is easily untangled and doesn’t matt back up. He loves the massaging effect. Very gentle on him. Every pet owner needs this brand. Recommended to me by my mother-in-law and this time I’m glad I listened. She was right! Well worth the investment.

Normally my cats hate being brushed, but they loved this from the first time. I didn't think it would get that much fur, but it does get all the surface loose hair. The only draw back is it should come with a brush cleaner, luckily I already have some hair brush rakes otherwise the hair starts depositing back on the cat.

This is great for brushing my female german shepards (70lbs) belly and inner thighs. I actually feel okay about brushing over her n*pples with this, as it is not painful like a metal brush or even the one with the plastic tips on the ends. This is definitely not good for de-shedding, just removing tangles. I would repurchase this as it is excellent. I use a separate brush for getting rid of loose fur and deshedding as this is not for that.

First off, it’s worthless for any animal with long hair. Just forget it! Secondly, the design is messed up. It’s arched, seeming to fit the curvature of your hand. But if held that way, you can’t use it on your pet, because the big teeth go in the opposite direction. The diagram indicates it’s for gentle smoothing, but how? This thing makes no sense at all! I should have heeded the bad reviews. Oh well. Thank goodness for Amazon’s guarantee!In the future, I won’t even consider buying anything made by FURminator. Any company making garbage this bad won’t get another penny from my pocket.
