Sterkowski"Vigo 8 Quarters Newsboy Corduroy Cap

This was my first Sterkowski purchase but certainly not my last! The material is thick, plush, and luxurious, the stitching impeccable. The Sterkowski lapel on the side, leather sweatband, and yellow tag inside add an extra touch of class. I own many newsboy style caps from brands such as Hanna of Donegal, Mucros Weavers, Goorin Brothers, and Scalawags Heritage and the Sterkowski is both nicer and more comfortable to wear than many of its competitors. The fit was spot on, not too tight or too loose, and because the visor is not sewn down, you can either wear it with the top flat or more relaxed and slouchy. Finally, the price on Sterkowski’s offers quite a bit of savings over some of these other brands. I would up ordering the Vigo in the khaki corduroy, as well as another Sterkowski. If you’re looking for an old world hat maker, Sterkowski is the way to go!

Thank you whomever made my hat, but it's way too small and the gold Sterkowski tag is not on my hat like in the picture.3 things made me want this hat...1. the color, 2. the corduroy and 3. the name tag that sets my hat apart from others.I have a lot of these hats and would have been proud to where it, if it were big enough.Update as of 4/17/2015...The makers of the hat are good at the fact they want to resolve my issues with my hat. I believe in standing by your product and being a great reputable company.

I just opened the box and what was in the bag is amazing. Hat is beautiful and fits perfectly, not too loose and not too tight, just right. The quality is a sight to behold and I'm immediately ordering two more in wool for the upcoming winter. After that I intend on getting the other two colors in corduroy as mine is black. This hat is so cool.

Well made but has a few puckered areas. I usually get large but this hat is very large. Going to try to add elastic inside on the back to make it fit snug. Hope it works....they spent a good deal of time making it and it is appreciated.
