The overall quality of this bobblehead is very good. The materials are durable and the artistry is pretty realistic looking. Aside from the Lakers jersey/number/Bryant on the back, you can tell it is supposed to be Kobe by looking at the face. I'm not sure what the (X-Large) notation is in the product description. The bobblehead is what I would describe as on the smaller side of a standard sized bobblehead. It's not tiny, but it's not very big either.This isn't a huge deal, particularly if you are going to put this on a shelf up against a wall, but I don't love the Chinese writing on the backside of the base. I wouldn't care if it was on the bottom, but it's on the back and is very noticeable if you look at the back of the bobblehead. I realize that Kobe enjoyed global popularity, but it seems that the main target demographic for this product would be Lakers fans, most of whom are from Southern California and can't read Chinese characters (I'm assuming the characters are Chinese, please don't get mad at me if I'm wrong). It's not a big enough deal for me to not recommend this bobblehead, but it's certainly a detail that I don't quite understand and there may be people out there who really don't like it. On the other hand, maybe it says something totally cool and people who understand that might like it.

I am old enough to remember when Kobe Bryant graduated from high school and started in the NBA. And while I am not a big basketball fan, I was aware of his drive and ambition. He is considered to be a basketball legend and his tragic death is still felt around the world. When I saw this bobblehead offered, I ordered it. And guess what, I’m glad that I did. It is nostalgic and a nice collectable. It is not very large, about 5”. To me a little smaller than the traditional bobblehead. Surprisingly, it looks just like him – dimples, cheekbones and that Kobe smile! It is hand painted and has great detail. Kobe is wearing the traditional Lakers’ uniform with the revered and now retired #24. I’m glad I ordered it.

I got this as a gift for a co-worker friend. He's a HUGE Kobe and Laker's fan.He was very happy as he didn't have anything like this in his collection. It made it next to his Star Wars and Marvel figurines. But this one surely stands out the most.Nicely made, great details, and definitely a terrific value that any Laker fan would admire and appreciate.Very happy with it.

My husband is a huge Kobe fan (so much so, our son is named after him in a way), so getting this was important to him, even if it's just a silly bobblehead. The construction of it is actually pretty durable and accurate! It looks like a mini Kobe! It seems to be well made and has many of the same features that Kobe has. My son loves to play with it, too, as asks his dad to borrow his Kobe all the time. I love that something like this can be so special to someone. Now we have it displayed in our office and it says "yes" to him all day for all of his crazy ideas.
