Lengthened the life of an expensive bin
Be gentle with the new clip

Brilliant if you follow the instructions
Thank you for making this product, a simple and cheap solution when the alternative was buying a new bin lid for £50! You do need to remove the old broken off piece which is a bit of a pain but once it’s flattened off, the replacement piece slides on easily and the bin works perfectly again.

Good but wasn’t quite good enough
It wasn’t the best tbh the head of the pin that sits in the clip could have been bigger, I actually had to mess about for ages to get it to latch on and while I had it forcibly latched, I turned the bin lid upside down and I had to use a lighter to soften it so it sat at the right angle for it to be able to independently catch. I then poured ice water on it to harden it and then pour some glue around the area to make sure it wasn’t going to move anywhere, so hopefully it will last for a while. It’s defo not a one size fits all. I have the H 50L all black lid with chrome bin.

It didn’t match but I made it works
I bought it to fix my 40-50L lid, I measured it to make sure that I was ordering the right one. I received it yesterday and it didn’t work, basically the click didn’t match the part of the lid to make the click. At the end when I was going to returning this an buying a new lid I thought to make smaller the part of the bin where I need to attach this part, so I did use an electric nail filer and it works 🥳 it’s not as smooth as it was but it does the job, the lid closes perfectly now, I hope it last! (I wish I made a video)

Useful but not cheap
Great idea when the bun catches fail and saves you buying a new bin. It’s quite expensive for what it is though.
