The metal bar in the grip strap is necessary and unnecessary. I had it in for a set and took it out for a set. The metal bar is uncomfortable because it's in an awkward spot. Works great without the bar, but i can see it's there so the strap doesn't warp which is what happened after I took it out.I didn't think i had big wrists, but the foam of the wrist strap is too short so the metal buckle digs directly into my skin.It's inexpensive so there's that I guess.

By far the BEST lifting straps ever. I went thru a ton of them. This is it! I was worried about them being short. Gave it a try for over a month. But I can tell, they are designed by professionals. The metal dowel makes you lift more. You can wear them whole work out. Very comfy. Quality materials. Perfect grip. Im pleasantly suprised. One of the best Amazon's purchase. Give it a try. You will see what Im talking about.

There nothing that I don't like about it .I had several straps before and they was uncomfortable. This strap are actually the best pair I have gotten and they are getting the job done for me

First, these are very well made. High quality straps that feel very comfortable and easy to use. Second, for the price I honestly believe you couldn’t find a better pair of straps. They work great and I think are aesthetically pleasing too! 10/10!
