We have used them for a wide variety of social interactions including work, school, and personal meetings with friends and family. During these meetings we noticed that the most important part of conducting a successful virtual meeting is audio clarity. Virtual meeting participants need clear high-quality audio to increase comprehension and meeting engagement. So, I decided to purchase a USB microphone. I needed a lightweight, portable, compatible, plug and play microphone with studio quality performance that worked consistently and easily. This allows the speaker to monitor his/her voice in a pair of headphones as he/she is speaking with no latency. Good little USB mic with a desktop stand. Should work great for podcasting and song demo's.A lot of polymer, but very solid. The sound quality was actually better on the initial usage than my more expensive and heavy Uber mic. PC, Mac and android devices all recognized both the mic and the output on the mic.It did really well at getting rid of all the room reflection that was being picked up by onboard mics and the Uber for comparison. The microphones pattern seemed to be a lot more focused, so it didn't pick up as much peripheral noise, enough so that I left the foam mic covers and isolation foam out of the setup while using making it much easier to see screens and lead sheets while using.Everything within the vocal spectrum gets picked up really well. No popping when using the mute button. so bottom line, a lot less tweaking and frustration for a good podcast/demo sound vs. my more expensive mic's.Not necessarily a portable mic to fit in your laptop bag, mostly because the stand doesn't collapse and we are talking about a larger diaphragham mic, but it wasn't advertised as such either.I may update this review later after I try it as a VOIP conference call solution.

It works well. Plug n play but a little too much background noise hiss

I was in the market for a new mic to have better audio on my videos. So far, this mic sounds great on videos and zoom. Folks say the sound is MUCH better than my old mic.Installation was extremely easy and quick. After a month of use, audio voiceovers are much better.Would recommend this microphone for anyone needing something easy, sounds great and affordable this is it

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve been an audio engineer for over 10 years and I was blown away by this microphone. It’s perfect for podcast as well as vocals for your game streaming. it competes with other name brand mics at a much lower price point. Not only can you monitor yourself through a headphone jack but you have a volume control and mute button.

I typically don't use USB mics in the studio but had to do some quick location interviews with just my laptop. Used the EM1 for that purpose and it performed great. I liked having the monitor, gain and mute settings right on the mic. Sound quality from the interview as solid. Size is good...even off of the small mic stand they include, it fit nicely into my shock mount. All the necessary cables were included. Overall it worked great. I'd recommend for applications like YouTube, basic podcasting and content creation. Good quality build and sound quality. Definite recommend!!
