Great product

This is a comforter set only. Please read the description carefully! I didn't, assumed I would get sheets, and I didn't, of course. There is a sham, a bed skirt (solid black) and the comforter itself. That is all. I would say it is a lightweight comforter, so you will probably also need a blanket with it unless you live in a warmer climate. The black background is very dramatic, and the comforter does glow, if it's held up to a light for a few minutes. We haven't tested it just with daylight on a bed, but I have my doubts that it will work that way. It is a nice comforter but I do wish that for the price, sheets would have been included. I really didn't intend to spend $75 for a comforter without sheets.Update 8/26/2012: My son says the glowing parts DO glow without extra light applied, and he likes the comforter very much. I just wish the set included sheets.

My son loves this at night when the lights are out and his bedspread is glowing. I had glow-in-the-dark fabric paint I added to the top of this comforter because this particular one did not light up well. Run a flashlight over it (black light flashlight charges up the colors tremendously!) while the lights are off for some extra fun. It is like you are painting with light. I also added glow glue to the rockets and the planets, as the only parts the manufacturer puts the glow product on is just a few of the stars.

Not as cool as it could be. Teen daughter still loves it for her space themed room (Why I gave it a 3). I'm not so easily impressed. Truth in Advertising would include a disclaimer that read *Product does not actually glow in dark, a few stars shine in your periphery on a few non distinct locations if you look really hard. If you want true "Glow in The Dark" keep looking- I'm gonna try some glow in the dark fabric paint to brighten it up.**I'm editing this review because 3 months laterThis set Shines at least 10 times brighter! I have no idea why!!But it's glowing in the dark like mad now!

I purchased this twin set for my five year old son and he loves it! Arrived earlier than expected, no damage done. However, I didn't tell my son the bed set glowed in the dark hoping to surprise him but it never glowed. :( I've washed it quite a bit and it has yet to fade. (bought in September of 2015) Overall a good purchase being that my son loves it but if I would of known that it wasn't going to glow, I would of saved the cash. Eh oh well.

We just moved into our new house and I finally got around to unpacking the decorations. These were bought for my son's room. I really do like the set, is very bright colors and I love that it glows in the dark. It does not come with sheets, which you would expect for a comforter set of this price (it does state that in the listing though). It is not super soft, but seems to be very durable. He loves them, so I can too!

After reading other reviews, I was concerned that the quality was shoddy. I am pleased with this bedding. The fabric of the pillowshams and comforter is WAY softer than other kid's bed in a bag stuff. My son is six and that was the second thing he commented on.... The first was how cool it looks, especially with the soft glowing stars.The stuffing is not as even/full as some comforters, but we've had no complaints of being cold, so it must still so its job!

The child in me is stoked with this set! The adult in me is stoked with this set! Though it is not super thick, it does not feel 'cheap' and is plush enough for San Diego. I wasn't even aware of the glow-in-the-dark claim when I bought it, but the little stars do glow a little bit, but they do need lots of exposure to light and total darkness to see. For me it's not that big of a deal.
