What I didn't like is waiting for the holster. And MOST of all not being able to tell were the item was coming from which is most likely amazon fault and then waiting 15 days for the product. Found out it came from china the slow boat way,when I tracked it, flashlights came in 4-5 days. Flashlight J5-V1 is a tight fit works haven't tried buckling it up while I have it on. That may be a chore. Have kept my eyes on where things come from and china has been one place I very much try and not order from. So be ware it will take some time. I'd say this is not user friendly when not giving all the information. I have had time wearing the flashlight holster and it did snap into place once I unsnapped it but put the flashlight in the holster and let it sit for 3-5 days and it may work better. Still mad that amazon doesn't tell you up front that it's coming from china. May be a law that says company have to make buyers beware of such thing where items are made.I have been using the holster for sometime now and it does work well with this flashlight. Not giving all the info is the same as lying.

So far seems to be a nice little sturdy flashlight holster. Bought it to fit my Emisar D4v2 flashlight in and it fit's quite nicely. Holster has a hard shell to keep anything inside safe. Has a nice soft inner liner to keep the flashlight's finish protected from scratches. $10 was a little pricey for this small holster but it is sturdy and should work well.

Great fit for the J5 tactical V1-Pro flashlight. Kept on seeing cases and pockets that were too large for the J5, so I was excited to finally find one made for compact flashlights. Fit is great--nice and snug. My only nit-pick is that the rear molle compatible strap could be a little higher on the back of the case, or better yet, could run a couple loops for optional placement or dual clip attachment. As it stands, the molle loop towards the middle-bottom lends to a floppy, top-heavy looseness when strapped vertically to something like a backpack strap. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been a bit more secure if the molle loop was closer to the top. All in all, can't go wrong for this price point, particularly if you have a J5 V1-Pro and want a form fitting case.

I take mine caving, climbing, etc and wear it daily at work, at home, in my garage, etc. After 2+ years of daily use and occasional hard use the pouch does show some cosmetic wear on the outside. However the belt loop, retaining snap, and body are all still in good shape and perfectly functional. I keep a Coast HX5 flashlight in mine, it fits great.

If you are a frequent flashlight carrier, you know the problem with other cases which use velcro-they don't last. When you use a flashlight frequently you really wear out the velcro closure. This case is very sturdy and closes shut with a snap. Since it seems to be a little deeper than most in this size range, there is less chance of your flashlight falling out I have observed. I feel it is built to last and a good deal.

The J5 fits with a little room to spare so it slides in and out without friction. I noticed none of the description pics showed the belt loop configuration. It only supports vertical but I modified it with Gorilla tape to position it horizontal. I wouldn't have minded the vertical position but the loop is stitched lower on the back of the case which makes the top stick above the belt line. The snap feels good but could get uncoupled with moderate force. A trade off of convenience over security. For the price, I can't complain. It does a better job than my homemade one and doesn't feel cheap.

This case definitely hold the J5 Tactical flashlight as claimed. It does sit high on the belt as mentioned in a customers review, so I flipped it around so it open downwards, this helped. Case feels like it will last for a while, so I’m happy with that. I recommend this product for the J5 Tactical.

very sturdy design but will only hold the smallest torches

This is a very well made case and I was very happy with it but I didn’t check the size of my torch and so the pouch was to small but other than that it was great.
