Amazing hoover,,, suction is fantastic,,,long lead is great ..can hoover the stairs and landing without having to unplug and replug the lead in....Plenty of hoover bags arrived with it aswel....

Just love this design of vacuum cleaner. It was our Henry hoover that lit my passion, we've had our second hand Henry for years, it is a little worse for wear these days so i was delighted to get this vacuum cleaner with the same sort of shape and design.First impressions of this Vacmaster was how light it feels! It feels a lot lighter than our Henry hoover!! This has the positives of making it easier to carry from room to room. Also the hosing / piping on this Vacmaster is sooooo long! I can vacuum almost a full room with just the length of the hose. It also makes it more comfortable to use for taller people.It comes with two attachments, a crevice tool and a brush! I LLLOOOVVVEE the brush, it works wonders for ridding the couch of my cats fur.The strength of the suction is just WOW WOW! I thought Henry sucked good. This is stronger. So strong that when used on our rug it wants to suck the whole thing up haha. So this is where the little adjustable hole on the tip of the black plastic hosing end comes in handy. Simply slide it open a little to decrease the suction power. Works wonders.This works great on carpet, rugs and hard floor. It can clean up larger things like spilt cat biscuits with ease. It comes with 5 large sized bags! Each bag will last ages! This Vacmaster is awesome, it is targeted for both commercial and home use. It would definitely suffice with either. If you want a strong sucker that's lightweight and won't choke on a grain of rice then this is the beast for you!

I originally ordered this to use upstairs, saving us having to lug our Dyson up from the downstairs cupboard, lazy I know, lol but we are getting older and starting to have trouble climbing the stairs now.On opening, this vacuum looks very much like a small industrial type and reminded me a bit of our old VAX wet and dry from years and years ago.This unit is well made and comes with a carpet / hard floor head which can be changed from one to the other using a lever on the head, also a crevice tool and round brush tool for soft furnishings. Along with those are two metal extension tubes, the hose which is very long for this type of cleaner and five dirt bags to get you started with using the machine.When I removed the top of the cleaner using the two bright yellow clips, I could see a large filter for the intake, this needs to be lifted out to gain access to the main bin part which the bag fits to. Fitting the bag is a simple case of pushing it onto an intake pipe, then I refitted the filter which just lays on the top and finally clamped the lid back on.At the back of this vacuum is an exhaust filter which is of the HEPA type keeping any small dust particles away from the room and user, this is easily removed should it need to be cleaned or replaced. The rest of this unit is pretty much what you would expect from a cylinder cleaner although it does have a handle to make carrying it less of an effort and some highly manoeuvrable wheels on the base.On unpacking I did notice that one of the two metal extensions was dented in a few places but it was just cosmetic and didn't hinder the operation at all.Once I had fitted the bag and cleaning hose, I pushed the Capet head on and set about testing the power and efficiency of this unit. This is switched on using a large bright yellow push button on the top and when plugged in and turned on the motor started up, to my surprise this was not as loud as I was expecting.Using the carpet head, I swept around our living room which had already been cleaned that morning using my Dyson V11 cordless vacuum and once I had finished I looked into the bag and a fair bit of dust and debris had been removed from what I thought was a very clean floor, so this unit does have a whole lot of suction power.As a cylinder cleaner, this unit works very well with minimum noise and cleans thoroughly on both carpet and hard flooring. The main cylinder section followed me around without the need to pull or push it using any more effort than the actual cleaning took and the design has been thought out nicely with the black case highlighting the bright yellow user operated parts and the easy to remove serviceable parts. When not in use, the three tools clip onto the rear of the main body for easy storage and to keep them safely together with the machine.So far I have aimed this review on the positive and what it can do so next are my personal negative thoughts on using this vacuum, which would likely be the case for most cylinder type cleaners.There is only a basic cleaning head so it has no motorised roller to get deeper into the carpet pile, therefore it relies solely on the suction power and users strength which for the elderly or inform could be a problem.I found that the flexible hose was quite hard to screw up tightly and the carpet head was a little awkward to push properly onto the metal extension tubes as all of the accessories have to be pushed or screwed on instead of having a quick fit bayonet type of connection.Lastly I found the flexible hose wasn't as flexible as it could be and often had to be turned to get it straight again whilst in use.Having to use dust bags takes me back, I don't think I have needed them on any of our cleaners for the last fifteen years so this vacuum has been built old school.That said this is a very powerful and good looking vacuum which cleans just about anything from the home to a car and would work well even for office and light industrial cleaning also the huge capacity means that it can cope with large areas and doesn't need to be emptied very often.I tend to think that this unit is aimed more for light industrial work but for those that prefer to use a cylinder vacuum around the home for a diaper than everyday clean then this machine won't let you down.Powerful, light and nicely built.
