I was skeptical of the product at first, I got it today and experimented as I have never done my nails with gel UV light before. The polish was easy to use and prep is important for a smooth finish. Side tip: use 1 coat of base coat before applying polish- cure for approx. 60 seconds (it’ll be alittle sticky but not wet). Then apply polish and cure for 60 seconds and apply second coat of polish then cure for 90 seconds. Then one coat of top coat then cure for 90 seconds. The storage box is alittle Flimsy but holds a lot and is cute. As a starter kit I highly recommend!

The main selling points for this kit for me were the colors and the box itself. I love pastels and this kit does not disappoint. This is my first experience with gel nail polish ever and I can definitely say that practice makes perfect. I feel like I have more time to apply the polish than regular polish so I can be a little more careful on not getting the gel on my cuticle but I still do make mistakes and I do not fault the early peeling that I had after 2 days with the Flamingo Pink color on the polish. I got too close to the cuticle and I picked at it. It probably could have lasted another day or so without me peeling it early. I went through and redid just that one nail and peeled on other fingers soon after. I did file my nails, and ended up cutting my cuticle in the process and did not cap my nails with the color as the instructions suggest because my nails are short and it would get on my skin.The second time around I chose Wipsy Blue and used the matte top coat. I'm not a fan of the matte but so far it has stayed 2 whole days without chipping at all which is a record for me, gel polish or not. Using acetone on my nails beforehand has seemed to help adhere the color to my nail but I didn't file my nails again after removing the flamingo because my nails are brittle and already in rough shape prior to filing.Overall, I'm super happy with this kit as it included everything I needed for gel and I want to get more colors down the road once I'm more familiar with using gel polish.

I have to say that during the first use, I wasn't to happy. Everything was sticky and it wasn't drying, it seemed to me that the lamp that came with it wasn't strong enough. To fix the problem I just cured for longer times, after that everything works great. Yeah it takes me more time to dry my nails, but when I am completely done my nails are dry. My skills are a different story, I was just so use to going and getting them done. It took me a couple of days before I opened my set. I have to say I have been missing out on a lot, this is so relaxing for me. I have to keep telling myself that this isn't something I can do every day. As a CNA right now I have nothing but stress and this is what I needed. Everything that was listed in the details came. Everything was nicely packaged, no leaks or spills. The only thing I don't like is their black isn't really black, I love my nails to be dark colors and the black is more gray. I wish they had more a dark black or dark blue. Now my fingers have the glossy coating and thumb has a matte coating. It's not as glossy but still shiny. I will still use the company in the future for more products. If they did polygels it would be great... Will order another kit for my nieces, I was worried about the quality because of the price. No Worries, the product is good and I will better my skills using these products.

This is one of the lighter tones.I luv it. I did set each step on each hand about 3 minutes each.Use acetone on your nails, "ruff" them up a bit with the file brush off then use base coat use lamp 3 minutes each hand, use your color, use lamp 3 minutes each hand again, use top coat 3 minutes each hand. Then it's awesome. Be careful not to get excess on your actual skin and stay off your cuticles. The top coat is MANDATORY. This keeps the polish from being sticky and it truly hardens on top with shine. I have tried the matte top, as I like shine instead. This product works great and will save me hundreds as I have done acrylics for over 15 years. I just needed a break. This will give me good polish that lasts. Now off to see how long it stays on. I'll post those results soon!!

I have been using gel kits for about 7 years now. I had used one brand in particular that I just loved and never thought I’d try another. I purchased this kit because a friends daughter said it worked well for her. I have to say I couldn’t be happier. I’m so happy with the results and how long the polish lasts. The extra items that came in the kit were a bonus to me. Love this kit! If you’re on the fence I say get it! You won’t be disappointed! I bought one for myself and my daughter and we have no complaints.

I'm not a nail professional but I'm one of those weird people that find doing their nails relaxing. I've been using Dip powder on my nails for the last year and love the durability but hate the damage and I find it cracks quicker than I would like. This kit by Candy Lover is excellent, it comes with 12 colors base, gloss top, and matte top coat, all the tools you would need plus a cuticle oil pen and hand moisturizing gloves. which honestly we all need during this pandemic with the amount of hand sanitizer we've been using!The color in the photo is 336 and I used 2 thin coats, could have done 3 it doesn't come with instructions but I just watched a quick youtube video and was good to go. It went on so smoothly and after a week I have no chips or cracks and the top coat hasn't dulled at all, still so shiny.Will be purchasing more from this band for sure!

I waited to get through a couple of uses before reviewing this kit.First off -- amazing value for your money. This kit has everything you need from the base coat right up to pre-soaked packets of acetone to remove the gel polish.Secondly -- easy to use and idiot proof. I actually have gel nail certification and where was this stuff when I was working?? Prep your nail properly and keep your coats thin.Finally, my only complaint: the colors are very sheer. It took 3 coats to achieve this red which looks nothing like the picture. But otherwise a great purchase.Love not having to drop $75 and 2 hours at the salon anymore.

Great beginner product to do your own nails with if you don't want to spend money going to the salon but I always get the urge to do my nails now. I got this product last week and I have already changed the color of my nails at least 4 times. I do like it, it just takes a while specially if you're doing your own nails because for it to set properly, you would need to put it under the lamp for at least 2 minutes (i find that I have to put it for 4 minutes for best result). Most of the colors are not as they show on the little leaflet that it comes with and they're pretty sheer so you would need to put multiple thick coats (sometimes 3-4 coats) to get it to the right color.

I am highly impressed with the quality of the items, and the box to store them is a really nice touch of class. I couldn't wait to receive my order. My pedicure was done already and was waiting to receive it so I can try it out. I went through all the packages and everything stated was well packaged. I am happy for a first time I am able to do my own thing. The kit is great for a first time, or a starter kid. The directions arw clear and very easy to comprehend. I tried a darker color to see how it looks and I love it. Yay thanks guys for this wonderful well put together box. I am very happy with my order.

Just got this today it came early :) I honestly cannot believe how much stuff you get at such a great price the storage box is larger and more durable than I expected. The polish sizes are 10ml which is bigger than most kits I've seen.Will keep you updated with how long my nails last and thr polish qualities :)
