I'm surprised with how well these have held up. The price is on the lower side, and I kind of expected them to need replaced more often. I use them in two places.One is on my catio shelves. The shelves that the catio-kit came with were just plain wood, and I found that the cats were a little unsure on them because they could be slick. When I added these they were obviously much more comfortable. So while the carpet tiles aren't outside directly, they do get damp often and seem not much worse for wear. I didn't use the adhesive backing, I used a staple gun to attach them.I also use them on a set of wood stairs that goes from my mudroom into the main house. This time, I did use the adhesive, which seems to holding very firm. The mudroom is where the cat litter boxes live, and these carpet tiles do a great job at capturing any last little bits of cat litter from their paws before they come into the house. I just sweep them off, and they look as good as new! I have yet to try to clean them with any kind of soapy/liquid cleaner and see how the adhesive holds up on the back. I'm assuming it will be fine, but I will update my review if I should find that it degrades the adhesive in any way.

so i bought this for the extra play room that we had added on for the kiddos. I read the other reviews first and was somewhat worrried about the adhesive not being sticky enough however the every square I put down had a really good amount of adhesive, actually I had to sometimes fight with the back paper to get it off because there was so much. It was easily enough to do though so that is a plus. My biggest disappoiintment was the color is definitely not consistent. Mine actually had three different shades of squares -light, dark and darker, so I probably should have tried to do some kind of pattern, but did not. My eye sight is poor so I really didn't notice it too much as I was doing the process but the over finish you can surely see the variations of color. The pieces are very thin so don't expect them to be plush. But regardless, it was a quick fix and cheap enough so I am pleased with the outcome. On a side note if you have any kind of OCD,, then I would recommend you do a pattern for the variations of color.

Easy to apply and trim as needed. Applied on stone steps that aren’t so smooth and they are still holding on strong. No issues while vacuuming.

Ordered numerous boxes at once and about half that arrived look to be a different brand. That could cause an issue with color match. But color did not match within a box!Did not have any problems with backing not peeling off.DID have a problem with backing falling off ever square in numerous boxes. The adhesive was just weaker in those batches. These would never work on the ceiling.I did not expect much for the low price of these tiles and I got just that.

I used this indoor/outdoor, peel & stick carpet squares to cover the plywood decking in a small 10' aluminum fishing boat. While the coloring is not a perfect match (that may be important to some) I could care less. I put it down for comfort & noise reduction... it's PERFECT for my needs. Adhesion wasn't great after sitting in the blistering sun for several hours, so I tacked it down with a staple gun. Problem solved. I would imagine that a controlled environment (indoors) wouldn't have this issue. I liked it so much I added a second deck and another batch of squares, and that was a really good match !! I'm totally sastisfied and reccomend these squares as long as you're not too picky. Like I said perfect for my application !!

Yes, it's cheap. Yes it's outside carpet. It's not what they say it is but it does stick well. It's hard to get up actually if you want to move it, It just doesn't have the carpet lasting effect of what regular carpet is. On a whim, I made my older cat a ramp so he could get up to the counter where we feed him (we have dogs, so he needs a private place to eat). The ramp didn't turn out as planned and I don't think our cat has used it once, but the stick-on carpeting I used to add traction went on very well and looks quite good. It was very easy to stick on and then trim with a utility knife. This is one of the less expensive carpet tiles and it seems perfect for projects like this. I have plenty left over for when I need it again.
