The BEST!
I usually buy Williams Sonoma white dish cloths but decided to try these. I am so happy I did - first of all they are a lot cheaper and I feel as good or better quality. They are thick, but not too thick. I am very particular that my dishcloths are very white and so often use 2-3 in one day. Since Borax is a natural product I usually put them directly into that to soak before washing them. I highly recommend these cloths and will certainly be buying more as needed.

Natural, cost-effective alternative to kitchen sponges
I'm trying to find a "green", sustainable alternative to buying synthetic sponges for cleaning dishes. I was using biodegradable Twist sponges which work well at first, but deteriorate fairly quickly in a week or two. And the Twist sponges can cost $1.50 - $2.50 each depending on which kind you get. So at about $1 apiece, I thought I'd give these dish cloths a try. After about a week of use, I'm quite happy with them. They shrunk slightly when they went through the dryer (as expected with 100% cotton) and that was fine with me. And the natural colors coordinate nicely with my kitchen. I'm sure they'll last more than 8 weeks, so this seems like a much greener solution to me. Just to be clear, they are not a replacement for some other sort of scrubby (green plastic, copper or steel wool). But they work well for cleaning dishes, etc. as I had hoped for.

Great for scrubbing dirty dishes!
These are my 2nd set of these barcloths. I use them in my kitchen daily, so they see lots of hard use. I love the ribs on the fabric--makes scrubbing up harder food deposits a little bit less tedious and also helps wipe up and absorb wet spills quickly. They do wash up nicely but after a while, they do get stiff after removing from the drier and they tend to get little stringy snags on them, which is why I gave them a 4-star rating, but having said that, I did order a 2nd set to replace the older ones because I love their scrubbing power!

Almost Desert Dry
When I go to wipe a counter or piece of tableware I do not expect to have a residual of water drops on the item. So many cloths are mixed with other fibers that do not absorb liquids anywhere near to 100% cotton such as these. Additionally, it is often the responsibility of the washer person to add such things as fabric softeners that keep the absorbance rate low. To overcome that possibility I use an addition of white vinegar to the rinse water before drying. These DII Utility Bar Mops are just the perfect size for using daily and keeping handy for all kinds of odd jobs. Moreover, they are far better and overall cheaper than paper towels. This was my first purchase of these and I expect to renew my purchase when a new set is needed. I absolutely recommend them.

Soft
These are excellent dishtowels. They are soft and absorbant. The cloth is very nice, and the colors are pretty. I took off one star because they could be bigger. Then are not much bigger than a standard face washcloth. But they are thick and thirsty. If they were bigger I would have ordered more.Since there are eight of them, I am keeping a couple of them in the bathroom to use on my face as facial cloths. They are so soft and of such good quality, that I can say that they out-class most wash cloths.

Great size, but seams unravel
I like the size of these for washing dishes and the little ridges in the material. I change them out every day, so I also like that there is enough in the package. What I do not like, is that several of them did unravel along the edge seams with the first or second washing. I have a sewing machine, so I can repair them , but that isn't the point! They are inexpensive, so I suppose less quality is to be expected.

As the reviews say, these towels are more wash ...
As the reviews say, these towels are more wash rag sized. But they do work really well at drying dishes or counters, so I think it's worth it. Plus there are several in a pack, so I always have some in use and some in the laundry bag at the same time.

Napkins!
We converted to these as napkins at our dinner table. It feels more earth-friendly and paper products are scarce in our area now. They look adorable in a little basket by the table.

Great product!
I just got these cloths and I'm pleased with them. They will probably be more absorbent after they are laundered but did very well the first time in use. I plan to keep them handy for use instead of over-reliance on paper towels. The colour variations are a nice touch. Will order some as hostess gifts!
