Can be mounted to a basketball pole
I bought this as a temporary solution for my 6 year old because he’s a shortie and has yet to build the arm strength to make shots at a 7.5’ rim. He was getting frustrated and losing interest in basketball because he wasn’t making any shots. I was able to buy U-bolts and mount it to the pole of my Lifetime free standing rim with a small backboard I made out of some spare mdf I had laying around. Currently mounted at 5’ and both my son and my 4.5 year old daughter are making shots!

Great product, great price!
This is a perfect hoop if you’re making your own bedroom basketball hoop. We made a pallet wood hoop and we’re looking for a simple metal frame and this was exactly what we were looking for and we’re hoping for. Great price as well.
