Would this work to seal drywall, cardboard, etc? for exterior wall? To explain in more detail, I drilled 2 3.5 inch holes in my drywall...continued...

How do I remove the residue of the cellophane tape that held the roll end together? There is sticky film left on the outside of the product.

Would this work to cover a very thin crack in vinyl siding? Would it look very noticeable? Thanks!
