I would recommend reading this series in order as situations from the first book to the second continue and characters overlap. It makes for a better understanding of what is going on. This story has Jenny and Brian’s romance and exploration of each other progressing. While there is a connection and chemistry that is felt, there are also times when conclusions are jumped to and doubts about trust occur. They are also having to deal with those who want to convict Jenny of the murder of her ex and other forces that are dangerous. Jenny is such a feisty and intelligent woman. She does, however, feel that her life is being turned upside down and spinning out of control. Brian is determined to protect Jenny. He is also dealing with strong emotions and feelings that include jealousy. New threats quickly appear and seem to never end. Read this book to find what happens. This story does have plenty of steamy scenes and dirty talking. There are times when situations arise that I wondered how much this couple will have to go through. There are times of danger and threats that have me wondering what is going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the part that the additional characters play in the story. Many of them are familiar from the first book and are ones that Jenny and Brian can trust. Others have their own agenda and plans. Can they be stopped? Don’t miss out on the next exciting and steamy book in a series that I highly recommend reading. I can’t wait to read the next story.

I liked the suspense in the novel. I would recommend it to a fellow female friend who read Shades of Grey.

When reading Bound, I fell in love with Jenny and Brian all over again, seeing the stress, the pain and the struggle that Jenny is going through in trying to get over the brutal rape that Ty did to her she is given a chance with Brian in starting a new life slowly through him. but in the mean time there is a murder, there are forces inside Brian's, the Prestian company and in Katarina's father's family that are trying their best to either take over the companies one by one or separately but in the process have Jenny being blamed for murder, and loved characters being hurt.In Bound, you will fall in love with each character that are involved closely to Jenny and Brian, you will see who is trusted and especially you will find that there are so many surprises that Via has totally blown what ever you would be thinking while reading will happen... won't.Via has really pulled character's together so real that you will possibly in your mind think that they are real, the scenery, the actions and the feelings that all the character's are feeling ...you will feel too. Via has really shown that her books especially in The Prestian Series and now with The Torzial Affair are truly outstanding books!!! To me, I think that these books are way so much better than Fifty Shades of Gray.Bound is the second book in the Series so if you haven't read Shattered you will need to read it first, if not going and start reading The Prestian Series... you will want to keep reading Via Mari's books as each and every one comes out...

Absolutely love Via Mari’s work! Just in the past few days I have suddenly found myself with a new favorite author!Via Mari’s Book 2, “Bound” is such an amazing piece and it complements the first book very well. Again, as in book 1, “Shattered” we find believable character portrayals and the hunger, lust and love is represented well. That angst of new love, ah, you can feel it as you read between the two main character chapters. The book is written from two different point of views, the male and female characters. You can see just how vastly different women and men think and process ideas, assumptions, irritations and the like. Via Mari makes reading so incredibly enjoyable, I cannot wait to see what book 3 will bring!

The storyline of Brian and Jenny keeps up the tension with Book 2! As was revealed in the Prestian series Jenny Torzial was brutally assaulted by her ex-fiancé when his money laundering ruse was discovered. Subsequently, his body was found, having been murdered and then displayed in what is typically a mafia fashion. Jenny is then put on trial for his murder - which is where we are in Book Two. Incredible highs & lows along with some red hot sex make this another awesome read by Via Mari.

Wow Via has truly become one of my favorite authors. Bound has truly blown my mind. I fell in love with Brian and Jenny in the Prestian series and now I'm in love with them in their own. After finding out Ty Jenny's ex who raped her during Degrees of Control book 3 of the Prestian series is dead she is charged with his murder. i also loved the fact that Brian was jealous of Matt and tried to fire him lol. We really see the inner strength of this wounded woman who is trying her best to heal from her experience. Brian and Matt are there for her and so is Kate her best friend. I can't wait to read more on Jenny's journey to recovery.

5 StarsBound is the second book in the Torzial series by Via Mari. This series really captivated me, and I’ve loved every minute that I have spent between its pages. I really liked Ms. Mari’s Prestian series, so I knew I would like this series too, especially as it focuses on character/s that we met in the Prestian books- who now get their own books/series. But I can honestly say that this book (and the series as a whole) are now my favourite reads of Ms. Mari’s. They have eclipsed the Prestian series, in my eyes, and left me needing more of Ms. Mari’s work.This book picks up right where book one left off, so I really recommend reading that book first before starting on this one, so you are up to date with all the important factors and exciting developments- and are able to follow all the interconnected threads of the storyline. You don’t need to have read the Prestian books to enjoy this series, but as it has some shared/ recurring characters, as well as some timeline/storyline elements- I would advise you to- as it will definitely enhance your reading pleasure.As with the first book, this is a romantic suspense that’s full of action, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, humour, mystery, lots more sexual exploration & awakening, some light bondage, spanking, red hot sizzling scenes, mafia, and lots of intrigue. There is a lot happening in the story, but Ms. Mari choreographs the whole thing seemingly effortlessly, keeping me enthralled- and in anticipation. Ms. Mari really seems to have hit her stride with these books, and is totally comfortable and at ease with her craft- which really shows in this really well written and captivating book!After the intense developments in the last book, we find things are only intensifying for Jenny and Brain. She has become the primary suspect in the murder of her ex, and as if that weren’t enough for anyone to have to contend with, the mafia has put a target on her back. Jenny is still trying to come to terms with her own horrific ordeal- and Brian has had a lot to do with her being able to piece herself back together again. Brian wants her to trust him to protect her and relinquish ‘control’ to him- as he’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect her. But as more and more ‘evidence’ begins to mount, will he start to lose faith in her? Will these doubts drive them apart? Could she ever really trust him with her heart?I really love these two, they are such fantastic characters- superbly crafted, with fully developed and complex personalities. I was completely immersed in their story, emotionally invested in them and their ‘lives’- strung out on all the detail, reading anxiously to discover what happens to them.This is primarily a suspense- with a great erotic romance woven through it. I love how Via Mari is able to build such intense tension, chemistry, and intrigue- but manages to balance it all with lots of emotion, and a little humour.The story does continue into the next book, but as you may have guessed by now, I didn’t take a break between books, and read the entire series back to back!I can’t wait to see what she does next!Thank you, Via Mari!
