Quickie Cotton-Dust Mop Refill, Compatible with Model 069, Cleaning Hardwood Floors, Commercial or Residential Cleaning Use

I bought the original in 2006. It lasted, with a little help from sewing reinforcements, until 2021. I hope this will serve me a long time as well. I could immediately tell the difference when I started mopping with the new one. Nice and plush. of course the old one was rather worn to say the least. The mop head is made with different type of cotton yarn than the old on in a loop fashion rather that a single thread fashion. The new one has a tendency to loose a loop into a long yarn that has to been trimmed from time to time. However, the price was wonderful and I really got a good mop for the price, one that fits my old handle ad works great at getting those dust bunnies.

I only use this for dusting the floors and never let it get wet. The dust/dirt/dog hair shakes out easily. Although this dust mop doesn't like being washed, it holds up well otherwise. Just remember that the more you wash it, the sooner you'll have to buy a new one.

This review is more for the mop than the head. We have about 600 square feet of hardwood and tile floors and covering 24" per trip makes dust mopping a snap. The cover lasts well we wash ours in the washer on normal cycle cold water with detergent every two weeks. I'm estimating we had two years life out of the first mop head. We replaced it due to the backer getting thin and starting to fray - interestingly the yarns continued to hold into the dusting surface, I would have expected them to fall out - didn't see that problem. We just use the dry dust mop without dusting products. Well worth a 5 star rating. Note: our grout is not very rough and floors are about half tile half hardwood; I would assume rough grout or floors would be harder on the mop head.

This mop head covers a large area and makes picking up dog hair a breeze. It is best washed out by hand, will lose strings in the washer.

I have tile floors and this dust mop works great. To clean just throw it in the washer.

Our house has large and medium sized rooms. This was purchased as replacement for mop we previously purchased. Highly recommend this size for home. Head swivels and fits easily under furniture. I have one for each floor level.

it gets hard to clean even in the washer. hairs and bits of junk get collected in the strings. overall a great quality. if washed and dried too much the black plastic lining starts to crack
