A denso compressor for $130,I I really question whether it was the genuine article.I looked up what the factory one looked like from the denso site and this one look just like it.So I felt like it was the real deal it came with a label said made in Korea (not China) that made me feel much better.turn over pretty Stephen I was a little worried but when I fired it up didn't make any noise seems to work great and I'm back in business.I will update if anything goes wrong with it.

Installed 6/15/19 along with a new accumulator, condenser, orifice tube and hoses. Turned by hand prior to installation and was not smooth. Checked and found compressor was delivered without enough oil. Put in the proper amount of oil. Noisy after installation. Doesn’t get below 60F at idle, expected 50F. Gets between 40-45F down the freeway which is what is expected. Time will tell if it lasts. Made in China, probably by a third party vendor. Update 7/25/19. Thing is getting noisier and now won’t get below 60F at stoplights. Horrible quality. Will update when it blows up and the pieces contaminate my AC system. Tried to contact Denso - absolutely zero product support. The problem with failures occurring in parts like the AC compressor is that is destroys / clogs other parts in the system with debris, like the condenser which is expensive. Then there is the expense of having to evacuate and recharge the system. This is a zero star part!

Denso is my favorite. Kicks four seasons rebuild jobs by a long shot. Looks better than some oe parts!
