I really wanted these to work out. I am concerned for the increasing landfills, effects on animals that mistakenly ingest plastic, and use of fossil fuels in the manufacture of plastics.These cannot substitute for plastic bags for snacks etc. They are quite fragile, and do not hold moisture well. Having slightly moist veggies like cucumber slices or bell peppers will cause sweating on the outside, as if there was condensation. So, I will continue my search. Fabric based reusable bags are not typically sealed completely. oh well.

got these just in time for Thanksgiving. When we ran out of plastic storage for leftovers, we had to use bags. They are holding up. they are durable material, zip up well, and I can use them without the guilt of using a disposable usually one-use plastic bag. I froze some leftovers in these bags and they are holding up so far. So happy to find an alternative to plastic baggies

love these bags. feel like they are doing a great job. if i put something wet in them, i put a plate underneith but have not had a problem with leaking. used in the freezer as well and had no problems.i gave it 4 stars because of the way it was shipped. in a plastic bag inside a plastic envelope! kind of defeats the purpose od using eco friendly bags...

These are nice! They are thick, but not too thick, and seem to be sealed all the way around very well. I'm so glad my friend introduced me to these as I'd been looking for some "green" zip-style bags for a long time. They're even compostable! This puts them very high on my list!!I haven't found any other compostable bags to compare them with, but I can't imagine any others being much better.I've only used the one my friend gave me so far, as my order just arrived today, but that one has worked very well, and I've washed and reused it several times. It's still holding up nicely enough.

These are awesome. I have been freezing food in them just fine and I warm up my cat's food in them by submerging them in warm water - they hold up just like regular plastic. I'm really impressed, I thought getting them wet might cause problems. They are a lot thicker than I expected, too, so they feel more heavy duty. Very pleased.

Not a fan. It seems like the baggie breaks down with food in them.

I use and reuse these bags, until they are ready to bring to my local compost collection site. Thrilled they won't add plastic to the planet.

I am happy with these bags. They are sturdy, and easily washed and reusable. They are a bit prizy, but so much better for the environment. Thank you
