My wife works nights and we often have people coming to the door to sell something or delivering something. A heavy knock on the door or a ring of the doorbell means she'll be up for hours having trouble going back to sleep. This would mean I'd sometimes come home to a cranky sleep deprived wife and who needs that after working all day.
