Q: Are they a wide fitting

yes quite wide but i won't be buying them again because the one has split where the sole meets the upper

The shoe was nice but it broke easily after wearing it for sometimes

They are not very wide. I'm size 3Uk and I order size 4. They are perfect with thin socks only. But with this kind of boots you can't wear thick socks, it will be too warm. So maybe you can try to order 2 zise up if you are looking for wide fit. It will not be too big.
