Would recommend
This map worked very well to help my fiance and I navigate the streets of Barcelona. It did not have ALL small side streets listed, so I have only given it 4 stars.

Barely basic map.
Folder was laminated. Map was not. All info on one map - expected several (streets, metros, attractions, etc.Everything was on one map - so small, hard to read. Thought I was getting something good from Lonely Planet - it’s not.

Three Stars
It is cheap but partially good. This map is covering just small part of the best known Barcelona. I you need to move out of the more touristic zone you are lost!!!

Not What I expected
I thought it was a foldable plastic covered map. In very good quality. I received a platic box, with a cheap map inside. I should have bought one in Europe. Just my point of view.

This map was not what I was expecting from Lonely Planet.
When ordering this map, I liked three things especially: 1.) It's about Barcelona, 2.) It's got a public transportation map! 3.) "Waterproof"Let's see how it measured up.1.) Barcelona...2 1/2 stars out of 5.It's a map that focuses on a portion of Barcelona. (What's thought of by some, to be the only area where "tourists" will go.) It doesn't actually cover all of Barcelona..Just some of the "touristy" area. (La Rambla, Gaudí, etc) Don't expect to be able to go all over Barcelona with this map.2.) It's got a public transportation mapYes it does ..Glad about that, but slightly limited, due to point #1.3.) Waterproof...Ugh... That'd be a NO!I haven't actually used it in the rain or put water on it because just looking at it and feeling the composition of it, leads me to see it's NOT WATERPROOF!!Which all of these things amaze me; because Lonely Planet is usually geared towards the traveler who'll do some touristy things, but also goes off the beaten path.. Including getting caught in the rain. This map was not what I was expecting from Lonely Planet. The only reason I didn't send it back yet, was because of the publi transportation map. It does have an area about Madrid, which I personally would have preferred it to NOT have, any time something (in this case a map) tries to be multipurpose..It usually fails in one area or more. They could've used that space more widely. I would have gotten a separate map for Madrid, if I wanted/needed one.Bottom line: I don't think I'd buy this map had I'd known all of these points!!Searching for a good map. National Geographic has some good maps that are actually waterproof and tear resistant..But haven't found a Barcelona one yet!

Don't forget to pack it like I did before leaving for my trip!
Pretty good map.

Only includes center city
This map includes a very small portion of Barcelona which, sadly, doesn't include the area where our VRBO is located. Not at all useful for us.

Maps are still useful incase your phone battery dies!
A useful map for finding all the iconic sights, very readable and a good size to see the street names etc, especially when your trusty (GPS and Maps app on your) phone dies of battery, then you need option B as in a map to help you to certain places.

A great resource.
We used this map every day we were in Barcelona, it was invaluable. As we like to walk to see as much as possible,we carried this all the time. We never got lost. Having the underground train lines marked clearly was a great help also.
