As soon as I plugged this headset into the 1/8" headset jack on my Windows laptop, a pop-up screen asked me to describe what I had plugged in. My response was an over-the-ear headset. That was the only setup necessary.Although his headset does not feature active noise cancellation, the soft cushions on the headset and tight fit are effective at sealing out external noise. A detachable cardioid microphone is included that can be positioned close to my mouth to further dampen extraneous sounds.Since the microphone is intended for voice, its frequency response is limited to the voice range, further dampening external noise. Listening to music through the stereo headset was pleasant, but did not aurally seem to cover the entire 20Hz to 20KHz reproduction claimed in the specifications. Nonetheless it was quite adequate for clear phone calls and for participating in interactive video conferences.Controls on the headset include a volume control and a mute button for the microphone. I believe that this headset would be a particularly good choice for someone who must work and communicate in a noisy environment. I tested this headset by making several Google Voice phone calls. The recipients of my phone calls assured me that my audio was clear and my voice was easy to understand. Others also came through quite clearly. Since this headset is wired and does not support Bluetooth it must be connected to a device with a 1/8" headset jack.

The headphones are good, but they are too big. And you need to have them plugged in. I don’t know why I thought that they have Bluetooth. Apparently no. Not bad quality, but there are better options in the market for sure.

This headphone is good for listening things in meetings, news, movies. But the microphone is really bad. People can barely hear you when you talk. A little movement of the mic highly impacts on what other people are listening when you are speaking. I wouldn’t recommend this office meetings or other meetups.

** UPDATE **My wife has now been using these for work. She wears them all day, every day and she just loves them. No ear pain or ear sweat. Clean sound in the earphones as well as the microphone. She is so happy to use these. I got a USB adaptor and she has no problems with her Windows based laptop.======================================================These are lightweight so there is no long term discomfort from long duration wearing. I wear headsets all day for work, and comfort is a major concern for me. These also fit over my big ears and the cups isolate background sound very nicely while not causing any irritation.Sound from the earphones is crisp, clear and well balanced. Both voice & music sounds great and the microphone also provides clear audio to those I am speaking with.Also - this headset fits a wide variety of head sizes. My wife has a smaller head than I do and many headsets do not fit her correctly. The headbands typically have a gap at the top and this makes the headset slip down off the ears. Not so with this headset, so it is comfortable and well fitting for her too.The only ding is on the plug. This has a typical 1/8" jack and there is no USB option. I would prefer a USB plug with a 1/8" adapter.Overall - a great set and very good for all day usage.

Sound quality is good but the build feels cheap and brittle even compared to other plastic headphones.

This JBL headset does just what I was looking for. It’s great for my zoom sessions and just listening to music without disturbing others nearby. They are very comfortable for me to wear. Sound is quite good into my ears and for those listening to me speak and does a good job minimizing background sound in my opinion.The cord might be longer, but extensions are small money so no demerits for that. The cord has a nice braided covers which I find helps a little at keeping tangles at bay. It has a TRRS plug (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) for devices that have a single jack for audio in and out. An adapter may be needed for old-school computers with a dedicate microphone jack.The microphone is very clear to those listening at the other end of my zoom calls. It plugs into the left ear muff which also has the volume and mute controls that are easy to ID and operate by feel alone. The over-ear muffs are comfortable on my ears. They block out room sounds pretty well. The headband is comfortable with plenty of adjustment though I might have liked a little more padding.I’m pretty pleased with this wired JBL over-ear headset. It sounds great and feels nice on and has a fair price. That’s get s 5 stars from me.

I did some tele-presence-ing today so I got 3-4 hours of wear. These are as comfortable as my favorite occupational cans (7506s). Plenty of padding in these over-ears, and the crown pad is comfortable for long periods.Mic mute is a clicker on the left ear cup, and volume is a rheostatic wheel right next to the mute switch.The mic plugs in, doesn’t flip up. Sound pics up pretty nicely and the foam pad does a nice job despite being pretty low-profile.Frame is well articulated and silent, but it’s made of plastic which might not be teen-friendly. Cups fold flat.You get a thin, fabric coated, single-end (TRRS) cord which works for about anything except some PCs that require double TRS plugs. Oddly, the end is a 45 degree plug. It’s been a l o n g time since I’ve seen one of these. It’s a pretty nice cord. I only wish it were removable.Sound is pleasantly warm with good detail everywhere. I really like the way these sound. I don’t think you can do better for the money.

Apesar da qualidade do áudio ser excelente, me senti frustrada ao me separar com a quebra da base do arco que segura os fones. Como se pode observar nas fotos, o fone não sofreu nenhum desgaste porque somente o utilizo no meu notebook. Apesar de utilizar pouco, já quebrou. A base do fone esquerdo se quebrou e a base do direto está trincada, demostrando que a quebra seria eminente.Infelizmente, não recomendo a compra pela fragilidade do material.

Tienen buen audio y la gente me escucha muy bien. Son los audífonos de este tipo más cómodos que he tenido, no me duelen las orejas.

Es el segundo que compro en lo que va del año, marca muy confiable, excelente sonido, muy cómodos. Ambos fueron para regalo para mis hijos.
