Fantastic for days out
I bought these thinking they were food pouches but have found them very good. You can break them in to bits. Size pieces which my dog thought was a treat and sat eger to have it or if it was as food when we were out he ate it like a bar. I. Will be buying again.

Good, pricey
A handy midday snack for working dogs, but expensive for what they are

Perfect for dogs with eating disorders.
Both my Springers have had Skinner's dry food throughout their lives and thrived on it. However my elderly dog now has myosotis and has difficulty in chewing and swallowing. The wet Skinner's food is ideal for her to eat now. It was a while before I discovered this food and was so delighted when I did so. I tried other brand's wet food and it was all too course for her to eat.

Well, the dog loves it
Our black lab has been fed skinner field and trial for his whole life (he's like a crazy 8 year old puppy) so it was nice to see they do a wetfood to spice up his dry biscuits. He loves the wet food salmon flavour even more than the chicken, which is the direct opposite to us as we all literally hate the smell ( it makes the kids retch when they feed him) but he is in some kind of heaven. So dog verdict 5 stars, our verdict 5 stars for how much he loves it ( after all we aren't eating it) and we try to tolerate the smell when we are serving it to him. I assume it is the usual high quality food as his coat has always been extremely shiny and continues to be the same.

Basically naturdiet wet food.
October 2020 saw a news article that explained a joining of businesses as Skinners bought out a majority stake of Naturediet dog foods as per Grocer online magazine's article 26th oct 2020 as such my review is written , as when I placed my first Skinners wet food order on Amazon as I had regularly fed the dry to both my dogs I thought once it arrived by prime that it was too familiar in smell & consistency to Naturediet & I wasn't convinced this was Skinner produced food so I searched online & found the article of the two companies merging which is fine but I found price differences that were quite different though the product was almost identical purely from a marketing point of view. When I fed this food years ago when it was in trays it used to suffer swelling when left on shop shelves in hot weather so I'm unsure if this new packaging will sort this issue but I had discontinued using it back then due to the ingredients going off very Quick.I was a regular buyer of Naturediet as wet food topper to my dogs dry food but was put off by the previous experience of it going off at various places I had it delivered to me from .I'm unsure if I will continue to by this now I know it's basically Naturediet as had some unpleasant previous experiences with the smell & condition of the Naturediet.I'm not taken in by packaging rebranding as such as more important of the raw ingredients etc.So I am dissapointed this isn't as I first thought when I purchased it as If I wanted to buy Naturediet I would of bought it on Amazon in the first place not fooled by skinners selling it under their name as I was unaware of them buying the majority stake in Naturediet. So to all you doggy parents be aware this is Naturediet food from their wet food facility not skinners facility though they are now under the same umbrella. They both vary in prices for a box of 18 cartons.I just paid £22.50 when I could of bought the 18 cartons of naturediet for £14 roughly so feel a bit silly as it's made by Naturediet & it has made my dogs toilets a bit on the soft side. The only good I have to say at this time as I have to use up what I've just bought only if it doesn't upset my dogs any further is it is Local to the UK & a low carbon footprint as both companies are close eachother so I can see why they have merged together it's just a shame Naturediet isn't included in the branding as that is what it is as I say I've had past bad and good experiences with the Naturediet brand and I'm sure I'm not the only one .I'll see how we go with this purchase branded as skinners to gauge if I'll be a repeat customerWatch this space!
