Q: What percent is the bamboo vs the other materials, including melamine?

Hello, Great question :) You will be happy to know we work very closely with our eco supplier to keep this down to a minimum. We are sitting at under 20% & continually minimising the levels where as some of our competitors do not disclose at all or have over 60% melamine in their products. Our bobo&boo dinnerware are the very best quality they can be & are FDA approved. Q: Where are these dishes manufactured?

Hi Holly, Our dishes are designed in Australia & created in China by our supplier we have worked with since the start of bobo&boo. Q: Can these go on the bottom rack in the dishwasher?

Yes, I put these in on my bottom rack and use both the steam and sanitizing feature (I.e. EXTREMELY hot water and steam), without any damage to the plates. They've been seriously awesome! Same goes for the cups and silverware.

Q: are these compostable at the end of their life?
