Easy, smooth, classy on my desk.
I've been using this pen now for about a week, and it was my first experience with a fountain pen. There was one challenge of filling the converter with ink, as the moment I stopped drawing up ink it immediately leaked back out. From what I can tell I simply wasn't drawing the Piston all the way to the top of the barrel. A little trial and error solved that and the pen writes and fills marvelously now.I had avoided them in the past because of my familiarity with calligraphy nibs, and I didn't want to have to focus on my everyday writing that much. Not so! I can write just as quickly and casually with this pen (or even more so) than I would with your average standard ballpoint.

Great Gift and Good Quality!
I gave this pen to my daughter for her birthday. She's in the university studying hospital administration, so a professional image was important to her. She loved it! However, it does NOT come with ink, so plan ahead.

Not a good pen. Spend your $15 on a throw-away Pilot student pens.
Box is cute, pen body...eh, nib not at all responsive, drags and just doesn't write well at all. It may actually be iridium on the tip, but just isn't impressive to write with. The $15 Cross is a much better pen and write much better. I have no interest in writing with it because it just isn't fun or flowing. It's kinda like scratching a quill over most any paper and the converter is unwieldy and imprecise. Not worth the $15. I'm not impressed. The Pilot Varsity from Office Depot would offer more satisfaction for about $4. Cross makes a good lifetime pen called the Adventura that writes "ok" but has a small cartridge for about $15-$20. Those would be much better choices than this pen.

For yourself or someone you love, who loves great writing instruments.
I love pens, I have a passion for them. For the price, quality and handling it is the perfect gift for oneself or someone you care to provide a beautiful writing instrument.

ink is ink
I thought that these would be a great addition to my writings. WRONG! one cartridge lasts about 2 days, depending on how much I use the pen.But problem solved. A trip to my pharmacy, a purchase of several 20 ga needles and a trip to the ink store to pick up a bottle of high quality black ink and ii am all set now. Upside to all this is that I have some reusable cartridges and plenty of ink that last more than 2 days!

Understand what your purchasing.
This is my value impression after receiving this item. Pen $2.00, Nib $3.00, Case $3.00, Laser Engraving $2.00. Everything works and looks very nice, actually could and does sell for more from other suppliers. As a gift, great, as an everyday pen...not so much. Do I like it, yes. Am I glad I bought it, yes. Did I get fair value for my money, yes, and they have a useful website with instructions for the pen. Not a bad deal.

Chinese Da Junkara!
The name Antonio Da Parra sounds fine, sophisticated and European. Also the price trick -originally $105, but available for $15 --trapped me! This is no Antonio Da Parra but Chinese Da Junkara! I rewarded myself with this pen for completing an important task and to honor 2018 resolution of writing nice and slow with an ink pen. This pen writes well and cartridge ink quality is good. With everyday office use, it suddenly broke in about a month! If you are looking for a fine fountain pen, research and invest in trusted, tried and true brands such as Lamy, Parker, Cross and Pilot. This pen broke my fountain pen fever, one of my 2018 resolution and made me go to fast cheap gel roller for my daily work note taking. I appreciate the seller responding to my review and offering replacement. Will update my review based on new experiences.
