We add Kevlar fibers to make an insanely strong vase..Why? .....well, we thought it was cool idea and Nobody else in the world is doing it. Our vision in our concrete work is to make objects that are totally unique and hand painted in mostly Indigo dyes to achieve a painting like quality. We want to make things that you would never find anywhere else and allowed you to take a simple concrete object and use it as a art object. This would go great on a rustic/industrial table. The finish is a super matte dusky finish. The vase is finished up several Indigo ink washes to achieve really striking color depth. Each layer is hand painted then left to dry for one day, This bowl has 5 layers of ink wash.
