MADE4U [Impressionism Series 2] [20"] [Thicker (1")] [Wood Framed] Paint by Numbers Kit with Brushes and Paints (The Blue Butterfly HHGZGX8217)

Loved painting this...came out beautifully. The paints were all so smooth and easy to paint with.

I love this paint by number kit. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough paint to complete it. Some dried up, other colors ran out. I was hoping I could just purchase the paint from the seller, but that was not an option. They wanted me to buy another kit and then they would send me extra paint. I really didn't want to buy another kit just to get the paint so, I just put it away for a while. I really wanted to finish this painting so I finally broke down and bought another one (just for the paint). The second kit was different from the first. The canvas is white on the original painting and the second is colored. The butterfly has a lot more detail in the original then the second. The paints are not the same color as the original. The numbers are different as well. Can I please just get the same kit I originally purchased?

This was a fun project that took a while to finish but was well worth the finished product. Did not use the easel since there were many minute areas and my hand was steadier working on a flat surface. Colors were vibrant and the well made stretched canvas was ready to hang. Also liked the finisher they provided to seal the painting after it was dry. There were a few areas that did not have a number but I was able to figure it out from the picture on the box. Really happy with it. Will be looking to do more from this company.

It was very enjoyable to do, though it takes many hours because there are lots of small areas. The largest brush worked well for the background while the middle brush was ok for the small areas. The smallest brush didn’t have a good point. You might consider buying better brushes but it’s not absolutely necessary. There was enough paint in all colors. The paper copy of the painting is very useful to keep. I taped mine onto the box and referred to it many times when I had mistakenly painted over a number or line on the canvas and needed to check what color to paint where at a particular spot. I was really delighted when I had finished it - very satisfying and I got lots of compliments.

I really love how the painting came out. It was very relaxing and also exciting to see the picture come to life. The fine print reference sheet does come in handy if you have very good eyes. I ended up going a little of the pattern cause I could find the color that was supposed to go there. It didn’t mess the picture up. My only issue was that the background print kept bleeding through and I had to paint it over a few times to hide the print lines.

This was the first paint by numbers I've done and overall it turned out well...not exactly like the picture but pretty close for a non pro. I found some of the numbers and lines very difficult to decipher, especially when I got into painting it -- it was hard to tell on some shapes if it was a 13 or 18, 10 or 16 for example which is the only reason I'm not giving it a 5. But if you're looking for something relaxing to do- I give it a 5 on the fun scale. It also came on a boxed frame which made it easy to angle and turn, as opposed to just being a flat canvass material.

this took forever months and more months to arrive and i had already given up believing it would ever arrive, but wow here it is! finally and its exactly what i wanted thank you for finally getting it to me.

Turned out great. This was my 11th painting and the first time one was on this type canvas. I do not know why or how, however, it was much nicer to paint on...smoother...numbers were covered with one coat....thicker frame. 100% recommended. Thank you!

Loved the painting and the fact that it came with a little wooden easel, I just finished it and it looks awesome! I took away one star on my review because of two small things: 1- they provide the hardware for hanging but don't provide any directions on how to use it. Am I the only one who doesn't know what to do with the little white plastic thingies? and 2- they should have provided more paint for the pale yellows in the top of the painting. They are large areas to cover and I had to go over the same areas multiple times to cover the lines and numbers so they wouldn't show through. I had to switch out the various shades of yellow to make sure I had enough to complete the painting.

This painting was a ton of fun to do and turned out great.

Just loving this butterfly - this was the first paint by number we tried, we were intimidated at first. once we started it went very well, and we are thrilled with the results. we painted the edges with the excess paints so it looks like it is wrapped around the frame. looking forward to our next kit arriving. watch that you carefully close the paint containers - it is easy to fail to.
