Works great with a few flaws
All the charging ports work great. One thing that I wasn't expecting is there only being one OTG capable port. Being advertised as a hub, I thought each port would work as data going to the OTG connected device. Basically this is not a multi port hub. Whatever you plug into the OTG is the only thing that will work with the OTG connected device. So I can say for instance have a mouse and flash drive plugged in at the same time unless I hook up an actual USB hub into the single port.EDIT: I'm docking this a few stars as I have just noticed that the OTG port is barely powered from the hub power. I went to plug in an unpowered hub into the OTG port and I could not simultaneously use my keyboard and a flash drive. I now how to use my other regular powered hub in conjunction with this one just to use multiple devices on the single OTG port. As far as I can tell the HooToo hub only provides a very low amperage to the OTG port (probably just 500mAh) When I look on the computer it said failed to recognize device (flash drive) due to insufficient bus power.EDIT2: If you are wanting to use this for OTG and charging multiple devices at the same time, I cannot recommend this product. With even one device plugged into one of the smart ports, the OTG power fluctuates enough to make the powered USB hub I have connected to it drop out. Basically I can only use OTG with nothing being charged which at that point makes it completely useless for OTG. Might as well just use a cheap OTG cable and just use the Hootoo for charging.

Best part : no wall wart required
It's inexpensive, has power to spare, no ugly wall wart, uses a detachable C7 ("figure 8") cable, and supports USB OTG. Device won't charge when using USB OTG. OTG cable provided. For those who don't know what it is, USB OTG allows you to connect your supported Android phone on one end, and a USB flash drive, mouse, or keyboard on the other end, to use the device. Flash drive may require additional software - especially if you have an unrooted Nexus device.I like the detachable cable. If I'm traveling overseas, I can usually pick up a C7 cable for that country and leave the supplied US cable at home. The transformer is contained within the unit, no space-occupying wall wart with this one.It would be nice if it had a metal casing instead of plastic, and if it had come with some cables. I picked up a bunch of 1.5' USB cables from another online retailer, put everything in a compact bag, and I have enough outlets to recharge everyone's devices when we're on a family vacation.

OTG is NOT compatible with Shield Tablet (yet)
Pros:1: The charging ports are great, and even work with my Pebble smartwatch. So far every other wall mounted Charger in my collection has failed to work with the Pebble cable, so I am very glad that I can finally charge that without having to turn my laptop on.2: It has amazing current!3: The provided OTG cable would probably work really well for compatible devicesCons:1: It did not work at all with my Shield Tablet. There is currently an issue with the Tablet software where you cannot charge and use OTG at the same time. When I plugged my Tablet in, the battery indicator was showing that the Tablet was charging through the OTG port, which might be why it's not allowing me to use it for OTG. When they update the Tablet software to fix the issue, I will try again (and update my review).2: The OTG port uses a proprietary cable to do OTG. The included cable is tiny, so you pretty much have to have the HooToo sitting on your lap in order to access your tablet and use the OTG. Does anyone know if you could use a USB extension cable with the OTG cable?

Great Combined Charger for Single Outlets
Between my wife and I we have a lot of different items that require charging. Especially when traveling there are not always a lot of outlets and I normally carry a power strip (even to the airport in case we have a long delay/layover). I bought this for our trip to Oregon and so far it has been an excellent buy. We got it slightly discounted for Black Friday.I haven't tested the actual output but so far charging times are comparable to my regular chargers (including my higher capacity IPAD charger)Pro:- Able to charge multiple devices at the same time with only one outlet used- No appreciable drop in performance when using up to 4 of the ports- Nice long cord allows flexibility in placement/use- Easy to see descriptions of the different portsCons:- Nothing yet, only been using it for a few weeks (will provide a future update if something happens)

Good and Convenient, Particularly for an Office Desk
I picked up this charging hub for two reasons: 1) I need a lot of charging ports for multiple devices I have around my work desk, 2) I wanted the OTG port so I could connect a mouse and keyboard to my phone/tablet.I can report the charging works great. Good fast charging on my devices. The OTG feature I've not been able to validate. My phone wouldn't recognize a desktop mouse via the OTG port, but this could be a component compatibility issue and not a fault of the hub. (I tested the phone's mouse function with a Bluetooth touch pad and so I know my phone's OS understands some mouse input.)

I really like this!
I haven't owned this product very long, so I cannot comment on it's durability or reliability. I can say I haven't had any issues with mine, and it is very useful for my purpose.I use this to charge RC helicopter batteries, my Bluetooth transmitters (and receiver), and occasionally my tablet and cell phone. The high current charge capability, along with the HooToo's ability to control the amount of current, is very handy in that you aren't restricted to using certain ports for certain devices, if the port you are using can send a charge current that is higher than the device you are charging can handle, the HooToo will lower the current capacity going to the device. As of this time, I am very satisfied with this product, and will happily recommend it!
