I bought this particular ladder because every other ladder I could find was 5 ft. It Was going behind a couch I wanted to see more of it. And have easier access to my blankets. I wanted to love it. But for the money it’s terrible! The back isn’t stained, which can be seen if you are leaning the ladder up against a wall for blankets. It is very rustic with large pieces that are splintering , any blankets that are woven or knitted will snag. There are also random (new or at least unstained) holes drilled into the sides. I could have easily made this in an hour with minimal effort for the cost of 2 16ft 2x2s.I have other aged barnword items in my home with a similar look, which don’t snag blankets or give me splinters.The high star rating in this is shocking to me, this will be returned. BTW doing a sort of reviews by recent will change your mind if you’re planning on buying this!

This ladder is rustic and obviously handmade (in a good way) which is the look I wanted. It has a slight, uneven slant that does not create a stability issue, however it does give it its own personality. Typically, “uneven” would not work for me. I would be cautious hanging anything that is delicate, or that will be used and moved a lot, due to the splinters snagging. I was initially going to actually “use” this ladder to hang all the throws that we have accumulated and use frequently. Because of the splinters, I have decided to place a nice throw that compliments the rest of the decor and use the ladder more for show. I am still very pleased with this item.

Ladder seemed overpriced once we got received it. There were some splinters in the wood that had to be peeled/cut off. We also had some bugs/insects on our ladder when it arrived. Seems like it would've been easier to just go pick up a few pieces of wood from a local wood supply and build it ourselves.

Bought this to use as a rustic style blanket holder in my living room, unfortunately it was of such poor quality I couldn't use it. It was so ruff and poorly painted it looked like someone had taken a half coated paint roller to it with a quick stroke and called it done and slapped it in a box. Would recommend looking elsewhere

This product was pretty poorly constructed. for $80 the finish should have been exponentially better than it was. I seriously could have went out and found some wood and nailed it together in my barn. No counter sink and screws, very little sanding, if at all, nailed together with poorly landed blows of a hammer and the wood quality is complete trash.

Size is good but was disappointed with the color (pretty much just solid black, not distressed like pictured) and really very literally you could go to Home Depot and buy a couple 2x2's and make it yourself in 8 minutes. I just thought this would have enough character to justify the price but it's truly just nailed together, no hidden fasteners or anything, nothing special about it at all.I should go slam a bunch of these together in my garage and sell them on Amazon. Meanwhile I think I'm gonna return the $80 version.

Upon pulling this out of the package, dirt flung everywhere. I propped it up against the wall to wipe it down and after using *four* cleaning wipes on just one ladder rung the wipe was still coming out completely black with dirt. I had hoped to use it as a way to store my blankets, but now I don't even want it in my home for all the dust and dirt that continues to come off it. When I realized the wipes weren't adequate I rinsed it off in my shower and as it dried it turned green (seen in the picture). I realize that it is reclaimed wood, but it should at least be clean enough to have inside your home without fear of dirt covering the floor beneath where it stands. Absolutely not worth $50...

It's COVERED in layers and layers and layers of dirt. Gave up after I used an entire tub of cloxox wipes and they were still coming back completely black. This isn't decor barn wood lol it's literal moldy old barnwood. I'm NOT putting my clean blankets on this!!!! Do better!!!!! A clear coat would have helped alot and maybe made it worth 80 bucks. Or you guys can charge 10 dollars for the product, because that's all it's worth. Going back. Very very very disappointed

Light-weight, easy to reposition or move to another part of the house, this 6 foot ladder is an attractive way to display items & reduce clutter. The ladder is made of real wood & has a rustic look. It appears to be good quality and is clean (I was worried about dust or dirt on the ladder rungs getting on my scarves). Importantly for those of us with no handy-man or handy-lady skills, the ladder comes FULLY ASSEMBLED! So you just take it out of the box & it is ready! That is my kind of product!!! I originally purchased the ladder to display my collection of designer purses but the hooks I ordered (also from Amazon.ca) hadn't arrived yet. (You would need hooks to hang the purses off the rungs of the ladder). So instead I displayed my fashion scarves, which were previously entangled in a large pile in a large plastic storage bin. This looks much nicer and now I can actually easily view and select a scarf to wear! I really love my "stuff" but i understand if you want to own "stuff" it needs to be properly organized or it becomes a burden. This ladder is an attractive addition to my home & displays scarves, hats and handbags which are otherwise quite difficult to keep organized & neat. The scarf display (above) took me only a couple of minutes to complete and then I moved the ladder quite easily down 15 very steep stairs to my front doorway because it is light-weight and easily manoeuver-able. I highly recommend this ladder. I am definitely ordering another one because multiple ladders would look attractive displayed side by side, or I can put them in different areas of my home (because they are so easy to move around). Thank you to the retailer and manufacturer for offering this wonderful product.

Ladder was poorly constructed with substandard material. I happen to like wooden products made with real wood, but this product looks like it was put together from something that was washed ashore. Tried to return it but the shipping charges were more than the price of the ladder. Only positive thing about this product was that it gave off good heat when set on fire.

All photos: After sanding the ladder 🪜.The surface was a bit rough. So I chose to sand it to make it look aged and smoother. I can still feel the roughness and the paint residue from the ladder when I touch it. But I like it. And in my previous experience with UPS and shipments from the US, I had to pay some custom fees. Luckily there weren't any extra fees.

The blanket ladder arrived in 2 days. It was fully assembled and the wood was nicely distressed. The narrow width works perfectly for our smaller living room and blankets. I’m completely satisfied.

Not worth the $110.00, only the front of the ladder was grey coloured and the other side plain wood grain! Yes splinters as described but so big I had to glue them down.
