These were my only shoe for a 20 day summer trip and they worked perfectly. The soles are extra soft and the padding on the straps is perfectly located to ensure no hot spots. This shoe worked great for long hot days walking around hilly european cities and trips to the beach.I should note that the sole does not have any reinforcing materials (e.g. vibram soles, etc), so I doubt this would be a viable sandal for more intensive hiking or backpacking over long distances. I do think it is a great option for day hikes and trips, however.Sizing note: I size down for Tevas but not for this shoe. Pick your normal shoe size.

Very please with this purchase. Been wearing for about two weeks.Pros- Very good value for $34- Comfortable with nice cushioning- Like the style, very good with black shortsCons- Does not feel as durable as prior Tevas- Strap is stylish, but takes more time to "lace up" then velcro .
