Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolor, 14ml, Sepia

Since this arrived I can not paint anything without a little (or a lot) of this Paynes Gray in it. I've been using the same dab I put on my pallet when it arrived a month ago, which is a dozen or more paintings and there is still a good half a dab left. The tube will last a very long time making it a good value. It glides across the paper and blends beautifully. Used without much water it makes a rich substitute for black, diluted well it can also make the faintest shadow.

Granulates beautifully and is creamy and so easy to work with.

Being my first grey used. I love it. It’s a bit more tinted towards blue. It’s not a grey that you think grey is.
