New Electrical Fuel Pump for Onan Cummins 149-2620 A029F887 A047N929

For my application {Onan Marquis 5500} the bracket was not in the same position as the original pump, which required modifying the holes to make it fit. Large washers to cover elongated holes but seems to work as required.

Seemed to work fine at first, but the generator shut down after about 45 minutes of continuous operation and I noticed that the fuel pump was hot to the touch. Doing subsequent tests have found it will quit even sooner on very hot days. The fuel line and pump are quite a distance from the generator and the exhaust, so I do not think this is a vapor lock problem.

Pump works great. Good price. But the mounting bracket is in the wrong place. You can get both bolts on without modifications. Nevertheless it fixed my generator stalking under load problem. One day delivery got me back up and running quickly.

Installed on my RV gen set, but have only tested it. Will see next summer how this works.

Had to run a file the mounting hole for make it fit. About half a hole out and had to extend the wire. But it works. But would buy another one.
