Slip2000 60240 Ultra-Clean (Ultrasonic Cleaner) Container, 1-Gallon

really my own fault i didn't check description properly. this is NOT a concentrate, making it a very expensive product of $/gallon. that said, after trying this product is mediocre at best. taken in account the price i will not buy again.

We have a "safety clean" parts washer at work. I would swear this is the same chemical solvent. It does a fine enough job of cleaning but not without some work on the user's part. After heating the solvent and extensive ultrasonic exposure, the parts must be brushed to remove the spent powder that collects in the nooks and cranny's. It just doesn't fall off exposed areas, which makes me question the unexposed areas. If you already have an ultrasonic cleaner, then you may like it. Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth the trouble of buying an ultrasonic cleaner and bathing your gun parts only to have to commit to the same work you would using powder solve alone.EDIT: This cleaner works good if the ultrasonic cleaner has a heat function and you get it to max temperature. Then it works well, plus the cleaner is cheaper than Safety Clean. It does alter the polymer surface but seems to come back when the gun is wiped down with an oil rag. I have changed my review to 4 stars.

I purchased this product after attending an AR15 armorers course where they recommended the use of slip 2000 products. I use this in an ultrasonic cleaner on parts without a lot of small areas where moisture could accumulate and rust parts. Predominantly on pistol barrels, AR fire control group parts and any plastic parts. Works phenomenally.

Works like a champ on gun parts and suppressor baffles.

Product did not provide good results cleaning silencer baffles in an ultrasonic cleaner. Name brand dish soap worked better.
