Have a surpisingly far range
Sent these as a gift to my nephew. His dad loved them as much as his son. They gave them such high marks, I ordered them again for another family with same rave reviews!

Nice set of basic walkie talkies with some nice extras.
These are a basic set of Wilkie talkies but they function well and have quite a few nice features you don't see on basic sets. I got these for two reasons. First for my son (7years old) and I to use as well as him to use with his friends that live on our street. Second as a communication device when camping. My family likes to camp and we don't always have cell service. It is nice (and it makes be feel like the kids are safer) to be able to communicate when on a hike or the kids are out exploring. My son has a blast using these at home as well. He has no need of a cell phone or all the dangers and drama that come with it but he gets a kick out of talking with his friends in neighboring houses, playing spy etc. He also thinks it's funny to communicate with mom and I from his room. Last night he left his wallow talkie in his room so I could wake him up over it from my bedroom (standby over night was no drain on the battery).The units are compact and sturdy. Voice comes through pretty clear with no squelch or static. Some of the nice extras include sub channels for added privacy and no cross talk as well as voice activation (over push to talk) and other things you usually don't find at this price point.

Great size. These are very fun and the rec3ption is great. The kids can play throughout the neighborhood with these. If i keep one i can still communicate with them 3 streets down. Great product. The kids love them. The size of them is good. And they come with a lanyard.

Not like the old days...way better!
Remember those walkie talkies as a kid that made static the whole time and sometimes you almost had to touch antenna for them to work? Gone are those days! This honestly feels too good of quality to be a walkie talkie for my kid, but hey, I'm not complaining! Love 'em.

Good gift for kids
Got these as a gift for my nephew who turned 4. They look a little cheap, but I guess you get what you paid for. And if it’s like in my case, a gift for a kid, they probably won’t last forever anyways.
