Original fits 26" full suss and hardtail, 27.5" hardtail bikes. 560mm long, 95mm wide. Weight approx 208g exc fittings.Initially designed to overcome the problem of fitting fenders to a bike with a dropper seat post the Rear Mudhugger works well on all bikes, providing they have disc brakes. However, attaching the Hugger to the seat stays also overcomes all of the problems normally associated with rear fenders. They do not move out of line, get in the way getting on or off the bike, do not foul rear suspension travel, and are robust enough to take the rough and tumble of modern trail riding demands.

Great guard, poor packaging.
The seller image is installed on 26" or 27.5" wheels. Not quite as much coverage on 29er wheels, but still stops 90% of water/mud. Mine came shipped in a bag, not box, and had to be re-shaped with a heat gun and some patience or it would not have been usable. Was pleased it came with vinyl protectors for the seat stays and zip ties. Need to come up with a better shipping solution, I imagine many get warped in the process. If it came in a box and shaped right, id give it 4 or 5 stars.

Couldn't get it to stay on and it chipped a bunch of paint off my rear triangle
Didn't survive long on my mountain bike here in Bellingham. I was excited to not have a mudstripe from my rear end up my back, but the zip ties kept busting off (it takes quite a few to attach it) and the thing would end up flapping around. There's a lot of lever arm with the fender extending so far from the mounting point. It took off most of the paint where the fender touched the rear triangle. I did like three rides with it and just gave up. Maybe it'll work if your trails aren't all rooty or if you don't case gap jumps as much as I do.

Warped out of shape
It's easy enough to install as long as you can get it back into shape. I'm going to have to buy a heat gun just to straighten this thing out since it comes shipped in a bag and is warped AF when it gets to your home. I would send it back if it wasn't an international shipper.

Better than expected
Made of heavy grade plastic. As noted by others, shipped in a bag so it is distorted. Nothing a heat gun and a few minutes can't fix. Just shouldn't have to reform the shape before installing it. Arrived before the projected delivery dates.UPDATE: Placed the fender on the dash of my truck parked in the hot sun. When it was heated up the fender returned naturally to its original shape. No Reforming needed. Added a star!Rode several times while on vacation in Florida in the rain. Fender did a great job preventing sandy road spray from getting all over my back.

best looking aftermarket rear MTB fender
unless you have a Specialized Enduro MTB the comes with factory installed Fenders that were made to fit, the mudhugger is the closest rear fender that will fit all other bikes and look cool. I leave mine on year round. It's worth the money for both fit and looks.

For small tires only.
The listing says this can go up to 4 inch wide tires which is absolutely ridiculous. This is for narrow tires, and def not 29ers. The middle part is very narrow and doesn't cover the outside of the tire. Threw it right in the trash. What a waste of $50.

Just go ahead and order it.. it works
Shipping left a little to be desired, but it made it here in one piece. Included wire ties were small, cheap feeling and generally flimsy. I used heavier black ones to install it on my bike. Definitely universal fitting but that said it does what I was hoping for, keeps the mud off my back! And it does it well.Definitely recommended.

Exactly as advertised.
This is a good rear fender for this type of bike. I've tried a few others and they always got in the way of something. Either the chair or the suspension or the seat. This one does it's job without being in the way of anything. I personally don't like attaching things to my bike with zipties so I cut slots in it and use velcro strips so I can take it off easy.
