Ozone-generating beast, so use it responsibly
Ok first I'll address the device then ozone in general...In terms of what this device does, it produces ozone, plain and simple. The purpose of which is to eliminate odors wherever you're using it.It has timed settings for use, which is a good thing. You don't want to, and shouldn't, run an ozone generator endlessly. Hence, you can select from 5-60 minutes of run time very easily with the buttons on the front (8 levels of timing, total). For my own purposes, something around 15-20 min is typically way more than adequate.I used this in a bathroom where there was a scent that we simply could not get rid of. Something that had leaked in there under the previous owner's tenure and must have gotten into the subfloor. I set this up in the middle of the room, set it for 15 min, then closed the door and left it be. Didn't open the door for another ~3 hours or so in order to let the machine do its job and to let all the ozone dissipate.Result? No more scent. Finally. It worked after so many sprays, enzymes, replacing literally everything in the bathroom besides the subfloor... and its still gone, weeks later. So yes, ozone can effectively eliminate odors, and this machine does just that. We've also used this for removing odors from boxing gloves that my wife uses for kickboxing. We placed them in a plastic container and used the included hose attachment that came with this generator to safely eliminate the odors. By using it in a container, which we placed outside on our deck, we had no concerns about the ozone floating around our breathing air. And...it worked! Again used it for just 15 minutes. So really, ozone is for heavy duty odor problems, especially odor problems that nothing else seems to solve. It should be your last resort, in my opinion. The machine does make some sound as it runs since its pushing air in and out of it, but it isn't too loud or obnoxious. And it does shut off accordingly once the time is up. Super simple to use.The smell of ozone is very, very identifiable. You can't mistake it. Its a certain "sharpness" to the air which means its still concentrated in the air you're breathing. Ideally, you shouldn't smell it much or at all once going back into the area you used the machine in (to be safe).Price wise, I think this is priced very fairly. The machine can cover a good size area and moves sufficient air, and the timing options would allow you to let it run longer for a bigger space if need be.As for ozone itself and safety, definitely advise you read up on that to be fully educated on the science BEFORE using a device that generates ozone. There's issues like it being corrosive to metal - that's something to be aware of with repeat or excessive use - and the jury seems split on whether and *how* dangerous it is to people (and animals). I for one choose not to be in a position to breathe it in, and you absolutely shouldn't use this like a traditional air purifier (running it while you're in the room with it, say, watching TV in the living room...). But again, you have to do that research and understand more about what ozone is, what it does, and whether or not you believe it to be dangerous to your health.

Does Remove Odors Well
Pros:Produces OzoneProduces Ozone WaterMulti-purposePortableCompactTimed OperationAuto Shut-offCons:NoneWhat I received in the package:1 x WSTA Portable Ozone Generator2 x Hoses2 x Balls2 x Anchors2 x Screws1 x User ManualThis WSTA Portable Ozone Generator product about 500mg of Ozone per hour. I did a lot of research on Ozone before trying this. There seems to be two schools of thought and not real middle ground. Some believe it is a healthy air purifier and some believe it is dangerous and can cause a number of respiratory issues. This unit puts out a lot of ozone. I can clear a room of odor in about 5 minutes. It is probably best to use outdoors or in a very well ventilated rooms. The smell is distinct and you can tell it is in the air. The unit seems like very good quality. I have used ozone water to rinse off fruit, vegetables and rinse dishes. If you are interested in this product… please do your research and remember that ozone can be corrosive so be careful of metals, etc. Also it is not good to breathe the gas as previously mentioned, it can irritate the lungs and cause respiratory issues.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, I have mixed feelings on this as I am not certain just yet this is a proven technology. The ozone definitely removes odors from the air and quickly. Although I have noticed that it I have started to have issues with coughing. So I am discontinuing its use until I can verify it is safe. Hope this information was helpful. [3 Stars]This product is made in China.

De-funk arm pits when doing laundry
Ok. so I have a young son who is entering....no, back up. Is IN a very offensive smelling time of his life. I wash the laundry and I actually take pride in this task and the results I usually get and expect............. I use laundry detergent with enzymes, I have great quality water and a water softener with an ozonating laundry appliance, top loader that uses lots of water with an agitator, and I am a huge fan of soaking......I NEVER expected to find myself in this position. I did laundry and the last shirt into the dryer was his and I decided to smell the pit, not sure why, but I did. Damn if I didn't have an immediate flashback to the Meadowlands in NJ driving down the Turnpike.........the bowels of NJ...... It does not get any grosser than this...............Offensive is putting it mildly.I used this machine in the arm pits for 5 minutes each pit. I walked away each time. I ran it through another wash and 2 rinse cycles like I always do, and THEY DO NOT SMELL! I can guarantee you that this had NOTHING to do with the fact that it was a 2nd wash. After I ozonated the arm pits, I could smell the bleachy ozone smell for almost a day still stuck in the clothing. That is why I ran it though another cycle. I will pretreat the pits now with ozone as they are all black shirts and cant take many cleaning products without changing the color of the fabric, and then wash at least until he is on his own.In the very least, I have prevented HUNDRDEDS of dollars of clothing from being thrown away in the trash and hundreds of people avoiding him from the stench. You can sanitize anything with this unit if you put it into a container and close the lid.
