Item as shipped had only a 2 pin plug (high voltage running the length of the lights, no earth wire). And did not have the claimed 8 modes.Neither safe, nor matching the product description.

Product stopped working after a week. You get what you pay for

No option to change the light, only a white bulky part with no buttons on it.Really disappointed as otherwise would be nice

We've had a pre-lit artificial tree for the past five years so when we switched back I wanted to get a no-hassle light set. I'm not normally a fan of LED lights because they often have a cold glow, but these are lovely and warm.We got a 7-foot tree and although one set provides decent coverage, I will probably get a second set for next year to get the kind of impact I prefer.Three things to note: These are not made to string to another light set, so when I get a second set it will have to layer over the first.Could probably look for a way to join two sets at the outlet, but the second thing to note is that the length of the cord between the plug and the lights is long. Exceptionally long. Would be perfect for outdoor use but means you have to gather up and secure part of the cord to keep it out of the way for indoor use.Third, you can see in the photo that the clear cordage stands out a bit against the green of the tree. Not a big deal to me but important to point out if that doesn't fit with your decorating aesthetic. The clear would probably work best lining a door frame or outside against a neutral background.

I normally like this style of lights- they sip power, look nice and seem to last years. This particular model has an issue where the plug keeps reverting to setting #1(flashing) every time it turns off. I want the lights to be solid, so every time I turn them on I have to go out in the yard and press the button on the plug. I bought three of these strings and all three plugs have the same issue.Fortunately this style of lights has interchangeable sockets, so I was able to use some extra plugs from different lights, otherwise I would be sending these back. I suspect a bad batch of plugs. They should remember their setting.

These lights lasted us one season. Bought two strands. The second strand did not work this year and while putting the first strand that was still working, it shorted and could not be fixed. Buy this if you want it for a year. Do NOT buy if you want this for multiple years. Ain't gonna happen.

Had these plugged in, got them on the tree, and they stopped working. They wouldn’t turn back on for anything. Total waste of money.

Nice long strand as described. Look great when hung overhead. The 8 different light modes are great to have but the default mode every time you turn on is a very fast blinking mode. To have the lights be on standard non flashing still mode you have to press the button on the plug 7 times every time you use. I connected to an automatic timer but it didn’t work to my expectations as they default turn on to the fast blinking mode. When I took down the lights they had already started to rust so unsure if they will work next year. The lights were only up for 3 weeks and in southern CA so they did not endure a lot of rain or weather. Overall, I loved the look but wish the default light mode was non-flashing/blinking.
